Using the video above these are the times I ended up having. I'll post the times when I started using my stop watch so you know where/when I started the timer and ended it.

Test 1 - NTSC video settings using PAL game - Timer starts at 14:39.73 when first image of the loading screen appears. Timer ends on first movement at 17:20.99. Total time = 2:41.26.

Test 2 - NTSC video settings using NTSC game - Timer starts at 18:34.68 when first image of the loading screen appears. Timer ends on first movement at 21:15.80. Total time = 2:41.12

Test 3 - PAL video settings using PAL game - Timer starts at 22:29.79 when first image of the loading screen appears. Timer ends on first movement at 25:11.30. Total time = 2:4.51

Test 4 - PAL video settings using NTSC game - Timer starts at 25:49.99 when first image of the loading screen appears. Timer ends on first movement at 28:31.32. Totat time = 2:41.33

There are a few timing inconsistencies, but I chalk that up to me using Youtube's frame by frame advancement. It's not perfect, but as you can see there is hardly no difference between PAL/NTSC game play. Hope @Inv1ve and @JimB post a link as well with your times so we can compare.

Hey guys. So I am the one who its trying to figure this whole thing out. Starcrystas is aware of the situation and brought it to you guys. I have a modded NTSC xbox that allows me to play both PAL/NTSC games either PAL 50hz or NTSC 60hz. However, I have never tested to see if it's accurately playing the PAL games at 50hz. I've been speed running BEA and I was comparing my times to @invive , @JimB, a youtube player with some good times, and another player's times from another site. This is what I found. Apparently it doesn't matter what version you play on??? It makes no sense to me.

@Inv1ve , you played on a PC but our times from what I could test where only .08 seconds apart from one another...practically no time difference. @JimB, you played on an actual PAL Xbox and our times ended up being slightly off in my favor. From a new game file to the first allowed movement of the BE, my time was .4-.5s faster than yours. Not much but over time that would become a big amount. At first I thought my Xbox was not playing accurately until I tested out another PAL Xbox players times. All of his times where faster than @JimB, and only .3 seconds slower than my average times AFTER the player had control of the BE.

The reason this is all confusing to me is because I was actually playing with an NTSC version of the game. My times should have been at least 4-5 seconds faster than @JimB and the other PAL Xbox player but they weren't. They where within .5 seconds of one another.

Essentially, while I think playing on PC or an NTSC version in theory SHOULD be far superior to a PAL version because of the speed difference, I don't think it really matters after all the stuff I've reviewed. But I can't definitely know without further testing. There appears to be very minimal speed difference. I'm more than happy to test some of this out with you guys. I have an NTSC Xbox. I think the best way to test this is by starting a new game, letting the cut scene play all the way through, don't do anything until she is completely done talking. That completely takes the player out of the equation. I'll post a link to my test tomorrow with a timer so you can compare.

I believe the conversation was in the Wave Race discord about 10-11 months ago. Not sure if discord would even let you check back that far. I remember Fitzentoaster and Metal Head talking about my times on Wave Race and they also made reference to my times on MSUSA as well. If that discord is still up and it's possible, that would be a good reference point to confirm my claims. No worries on my end, shit happens. Just caught me off guard is all. I'll resubmit when I get the chance.

@meauxdal didn't even know there where game specific forums otherwise I would have, haha. I know I was a part of the game's discord for awhile, or the wave race discord. Either way, I remember talking about it in one of those discords back when I uploaded my times. Doesn't matter, but I do highly recommend you check possible bugs or as Dangerless said the site may have been rolled back. I do know my runs where still on the leaderboards about 2-3 months ago. I was double checking all my videos to make sure I had uploaded them (and many other scores/times to other sites) so I know that is roughly the time frame when I last knew they where still up.

Okay, fair enough. I would say you may possibly want to do some beta testing about this though. I assure you, I was the the top guy for all Mickey Speedway USA tracks until @meauxdal beat all but the ones I mentioned earlier. Sounds like a possible bug then that may need to checked out. Could happen to someone else and that would suck. Whatever happened, it didn't affect my other times submitted. I'll resubmit then when I get the time. I typically don't like to edit my videos as it allows room for legitimacy of a run, that is why I time stamp everything so you know exactly where to look for the specific run. If showing boot up and the like isn't necessary though I can try to edit them down to as close to the run as possible. I'll still time stamp them of course. Thanks for looking into it.

Anyone have any response to my submissions being deleted? Mickey's Speedway USA (GBC).

Just to be sure, you looked at Mickey's Speedway USA (GBC) and not just Mickey's Speedway USA, correct? I submitted for the GBC version. Please check your records on that. All the scores I posted to SRC I also posted on Twin Galaxies. I would upload a time to TG, then immediately come over here and post my times. If it wasn't immediately, it was within a week I know that. I have several times that would still be #1 if they had not been removed for whatever reason. All my times on TG pre-date the current holders times. I'll post links to those runs...as mentioned before about how I time stamped my runs here, I also time stamp my runs there. So I guess my proof is over at TG of me doing these runs before the current holder if your records don't come up with anything. If that is the case, then there are bigger issues that need addressed if you can't find any records of this. Here are the links to the times that would still be the #1. Note that all dates for my TG submissions are between 11-02-18 and 11-05-18, about a month or two prior to the current leaders submitted runs.

Hello. I had scores verified for Mickey's Speedway USA for the GB several months ago, just checked on them, and every single one of them has been removed from the leaderboards. Some of them where the fastest race and lap times. I was told by the moderator at the time of my entering the scores that he did not like that some of them where 40 minutes long before my official run begin. I would understand that argument if it wasn't for the fact I time stamp all of my runs so it's not like they had to go searching 40 minutes of play to find them. So why the removal of my scores?

Any good reason why my times for Mickey's Speedway USA for the Game Boy have been removed? I had some of the fastest times posted and now they are gone. Indianapolis in particular was a fantastic time, I was the first person witha 16.43 lap and my race time of 49.77 would still be number 1. Videos are still up on Youtube for viewing as well as submitted to Twin Galaxies.
