These old categories were created by Shred. Hippo is this strange creature (per his vision). IMO - per category rules - any of these creatures are hippo, so do any of them to finish the category.
Cape moment is absolutely OK by any restricted rules. Any jump down on any texture with hitbox is legit. But jump on cutscene looks not legit because you jump not on the texture, but so you just ignore fall damage. E.g. you can jump-fly in the older patch, by switching weapon, and ignore fall damage. It's unrestricted mechanic.
18:40 moment looks ok. Agile cape moment - I have no idea :) As I say, because it has strong relation with opinion - not with objective facts of game - we don't really know what's the best idea to consider as OK jumping and what is bad sequence break... I'm afraid I really want to remove restricted subcat and rules because that's pure mess, also it will be real hell with verification of this type of run
There must not be situation where only i consider what is ok and what is bad, that why i actually want to think about it a little more
first - replied in comments of video on youtube. Second - breaking boss AI or way in what arena works cant be restricted in any game. If we have that type of discussion on every possible skip or glitch, i dont think we need restricted category at all. It s better to run with every possible skip/glitch or with 0 of them.
Looks OK to me but I see that Video is submitted from anonymous user... We expect to see user in platform where video is uploaded, for cases when video is stolen from another platform etc to verify the initial source and owner. Of course, I think and believe that we are too far from any fraud in this dead for speedruns game :) So I think you can upload video here for submissions. If Shred has another opinion, we can discuss.
Video should be available to view without registration for moderation. Video should not be deleted shortly (in this case, submission will be rejected). There must be way to view video, to choose second of video in this online player without downloading of video. Youtube is preferable, of course, if you want another option - please let us know, we could check if it's OK.
First of all, I don't think these questions are related to topic, please create new for this type of questions or ping me in dm. btw, about loading screens:'m not sure if it's possible to disable load screens, is it in latest patch? And speed of loadscreebs is very related to your machine, i probably need try to run on my new laptop - it's much better than old pc to test it. About directional buttons: never tested it.
I remember this glitch. I want to consider it as also unrestricted because it breaks the sequence of actions "general" playthrough, because - as intended - you should use lift, then use jump section. And this way - you skip waiting of lift, enemies near lift and jumping section. I thought about Restricted run as run that use no exploits, glitches, sequence break mechanic that allow you to not run the intended way from start to end, that's why any sequence break climbing that allow you to skip bosses/enemies are also unrestricted. Actually, it's discussable. I performed restricted only on NG+ to show my vision of how it looks like, or how i want to see it, but of course - we should consider it not only per my vision
Max level was grinded with reset of "Rough landing" via save corruption. Saves here

I've provided records of stream where I grinded these saves. No additional tools were used, and I know if I spent triple time - I could have 1 extra level and maybe better mutagens.
And of course there are mistakes during run, 10+ seconds or more, will know if try to grind better
