Honestly, I don't think there'd be much of a point to having themes if they're off by default. A lot of people check this website without logging in and I don't think everyone is going to check the settings when they sign in for the first time. It's a really cool feature and I think it'd be lost to the majority if it was off by default. Maybe there should be a message at the top of every page with a custom theme telling everyone that the page has a custom theme and that it can be turned off? CrystalChaos mentioned the username thing which I think should be brought up, a lot of leaderboards have a colour that can't really be read on that leaderboard. Black, for example, doesn't work on the YHTWTG leaderboards, but I don't really want to change it because black is the background colour for the entire game.
It's to help resurrect the page if it gets accidentally deleted/deleted by a glitch.
http://www.speedrun.com/yhtwtg/guide/wkfru It needs a lot of work, I know. Suggestions here would help, thanks. :)
Don't know why the OP's post was deleted, but this was about a Borderlands game.
Thanks Gyoo, I removed series mod powers so it's all fine. :)
Me too! Me too! http://www.speedrun.com/swtg should probably be added to http://www.speedrun.com/wtg
And maybe disable series moderators in that one if possible (I'll send them a message), the YHTWTG mods don't have much to do with SWTG.
I think I considered running it once, I might have a shot at some point.
Alrighty then. I'm now working on a guide of sorts, and have added some maps to resources. Thanks for the ideas. :)
Most of the run is straightforward so I don't think there's much value in writing a full guide, but I can see why having a guide that explains tricks and techniques could be valuable. I might start working on one.
EDIT: A route guide might also be useful.
Whenever I run 100%, I tend to focus on the non-Steam version. I'm going to see how good I can get my current route, because the PB isn't good right now. When/if I push that to near its limit, I might go to the Steam version (which has slightly less backtracking). As for gameplay quality, there is no "par" for runs submitted to the leaderboards. As for guides, I'd be happy to start on one but it might be better to have all the runners contribute to it.
Unless it was a security thing or the game page had already been created, an admin or mod must have stepped in.

The game I speedrun has a similar thing, and for the moment we're just using the real-time as IGT. Unfortunately, the planned update that I linked has been postponed a bit due to some more immediate stuff (IIRC), but we're all hoping that it's coming sooner rather than later. c:
Unfortuntely, some people can easily request a game and then never visit the website again.
I believe it's listed as a future feature, but it's pretty far-off on the radar with other more important and immediate stuff being worked on. Instead, you can message people through Twitch, Twitter, etc.
This can probably be fixed, but previously I've just edited each run and saved it without changing anything and that run will have the variable cleared. However, if it's Luigi's Mansion, you'll probably want to wait for a fix because it might take a while. :P
Another variable related bug is that if there are two variables and you delete the top one, the options on runs for the first variable become what is shown for the second (and only remaining) variable. Can be fixed the same way.
