With the recent split between generations in Pokemon Speedrunning we decided to update the Discord Thread so it automatically gets you to the new community server!

For those of you who don't know what Discord is, you can read about it here. It's very friendly and very easy to use, and it's absolutely free to both test and own! Discord is available both as an in-browser program and a fully downloadable app.

There are dedicated text channels for each category within generations 1-3, so you'll never miss any brand new routing or discussion, as well as centralized voice channels. No longer will races require a host and a messy call set up, simply jump into one of the dedicated channels and chat away!

If the specificity of text/voice channels are a little intimidating, there are also general text/voice channels if you just want to talk about anything/everything!

You probably did something wrong somewhere else, hard to say without a video. If you want more help just record the run and i'll watch it

are you opening your pokedex or pokemon menu before talking to the brock guy (after resetting)?

here is the run: here is the route i used (wich i already replaced in favor of a better one):https://pastebin.com/pCLbh8Gb

This run would need a rule exception, since you cant get Mew without using a glitch. I suggest we should state that you can perform only one trainerfly/deathfly glitch to spawn a lv7 Mew. The routing is really interesting since Mew can learn every tm, but you are really underleveled compared to nidoking for example. I think this can easily sub 2

It could be a keyboard problem, I know some cheaper ones cannot take more then 3 input at the same time. The easiest way to prove this is to use a keyboard visualization program, you can just press these 4 buttons and you should see them pressed If thats your problem you should use this manip that doesnt require any soft reset.
