Renaming the original works as well, that way you have a copy of your original highscores.
But, how did you get that Skip in the Tutorial? Is that even hard to do right there. It seems hard to do right there.
@SpeedRunFan2022 The tutorial skip can be done by playing in windowed mode, then closing the game (or Alt+F4) when the tutorial is loading. This will make the game think you've already played the tutorial.
Splits don't have to be perfectly accurate for a run to count. (Splits technically aren't required for a run to be valid, though having a timer is strongly encouraged)
There is actually a level limit (347 levels), though it takes a very long time, probably at least 50+ hours. Completing 347 causes the game to reach the point where levels require more than 2.147B points to complete, breaking the levelling system.
I don't plan on adding any more categories for Endless right now. That mode already has a lot of categories, and I don't want to flood the game with too many leaderboards.
You should consider downloading LiveSplit when doing these runs, it'll help with timing.
You're better at submitting on time than I am with verifying on time.
DX8 should work on Steam. (You should hear a windows "ding" sound after pressing Ctrl + Alt + D)

Now there's a few that are specific to speedruns, I'll go into those in detail.
Hybrid Mouse + Keyboard: Hover over the gem you want to move, and use the WASD keys to move said gem. You can also click a gem, then move it using WASD while your cursor is in a different spot. This could take some getting used to, but is faster.
3D acceleration off: Turning 3D acceleration off speeds up the transitions between levels. Playing on DX8 mode (Ctrl + Alt + D, Ctrl + F8) works as well. (I think 3D accel off is slightly slower in Quest, but I'm not 100% sure.)
Level extensions: Swapping gems when you have enough points to complete a level will result in the level complete getting delayed until all gems stop moving. You can basically prevent a level from finishing by doing this.
Infinite moves: Making 2 matches very quickly when you have 1 move results in having -1 moves. Game over is only programmed for exactly 0 moves, so you're allowed to keep making moves at -1.
Special gem farming: Clearing a special gem, then going back to the menu and back in game again fast enough will cause the move to repeat, and special gems cleared to be rewarded again. Note that you'll want to exit before the explosions finish, having a Star/Cube makes this easier. Any unexploded gems that will get exploded later in the combo are not added.
Gambler Glitch: Similar to above. You'll want to get a flush hand where the last move is a Star/Cube. Here, you can just repeatedly enter/exit the game, and you'll be rewarded a flush on your profile each time.

Cognito would be similar to puzzle, but I suppose it could be more challenging. Finity is kinda RNG with Power gems and bombs, and hard to unlock without cheating. Twilight I'll have to think about.
Stratamax - When you have only one move remaining, you can make 2 matches very quickly. This will cause the moves remaining to go negative, and it won't kill you. (Side note: This is probably the worst way to program a move limit. There's like, 3 easy ways to fix this)
Avalanche - By performing a technique known as Gemwipe, you can basically survive forever. You can learn how about this here - https://bejeweled.fandom.com/wiki/Gemwipe In speedruns, it's best to wait until the board is close to being full before actually using this technique, that way you have more possible matches. That being said, using it early on can be helpful for creating special gems.

IMO the requirement should be to get 300k in every secret mode in place of Top Secret. (Applies to 100% and this concept)
Can we separate the beta versions into different categories? Novas were nerfed in Beta 7b.
