To date, you've made no attempts to directly contact anyone on the moderation team to discuss or appeal the ban, choosing instead to only imply we won't communicate with you by posting it as stream titles, a run submission message, and now a public forum post. You're welcome to approach any of the super-moderators on the leaderboard in SRC DM's if you wish to discuss your ban and present said evidence. This is not a matter of public debate though, and as such I am locking this thread.

Technically speaking it's possible, but realistically speaking it's extremely unlikely that you'd be able to do the route that involves multiple 1 frame inputs. I think with enough practice, you could maybe pull off the jump save and quit route.

Yes those would be considered valid bindings, as far as I can tell.

As of right now, we haven't done enough testing to confidently allow it for runs on the board. If this changes though, we will be sure to update the rules appropriately to include it.

As long as you're above version 1.5 I think you're good, but definitely double check the rules to be sure you follow the other emulator requirements :)

The rules can be found by clicking the "View Rules" button in the top right of the leaderboard. From there you can review both the "Game Rules" and "Category Rules" for any of the leaderboards we have.

That said, out of the emulators that are allowed there is no noticeable difference in speed for any of them. Retroarch does tend to be the more powerful of the options and does a good job at minimizing input delay, but it can be hard to get set up. I personally use SNES9X (version 1.60) without any issues.

Edwardinary chose to remove his runs from the website a couple days ago, but I can't speak to why as I don't know the reasoning behind his decision. We still recognize those runs as valid and would welcome them being resubmitted, but we also respect people's choice to not include them on the site or our board.

For the curious, an accurate leaderboard at the top would currently look like: Eriror => 1:23:00 Edwardinary => 1:23:01 WQ => 1:23:07 Xelna => 1:23:09

The popular one is SNES9X which has a built in input display. Aside from that though, there are other input capture programs availble that can be used for emulator, like NintendoSpy.

Greenham's comment is the best advice i can think of, as thise resources go over the core mechanics of whats going on. If there's any specific part of the clips you don't understand, I'd recommend joining the discord as it's more active and usually provides a quicker response.
