@trentthekid642 you can leave the great plateau without activating the shrines but yes, i forgot about the spirit orbs, also it might be smart to collect the bomb rune so you can beat ganon with just them

@Trentthekid642 NG+ means glitches that are carried through save files are allowed to be used e.g. moon jump in botw, carries itself to a new save file as of currently, all speedruns for botw have to be started from a fresh save file. (NG) the current sheikah slate skip setup requires moon jump to be carried through save data, which would mean under normal circumstances, it wouldn't be able to be used for 'low%' if it is added. Another example would be transferring a bomb bag through save files in Twilight Princess

I never ran into this issue but you can try:

1. clicking the lock at the top left, next to the url
2. clicking the dropdown menu next to 'flash'
3. changing it to 'allow'

i think they may be able to make an exception for a category extension, as this probably wont be in the full game page also the goal is still to beat dark beast ganon

@trentthekid642 i know the bow of light would mean less items, because it comes with arrows, but it could still be useful information.

route so far: skeikah slate skip left the great plateau with ONLY the paraglider NO shrines have been activated in the current save file great plateau tower is NOT active NO runes are collected

no enemies should be defeated apart from the blight ganons + calamity ganon Least amount of weapons as possible for the final boss fight (amiibo may have to be used to get the strongest swords with the most durability, e.g. sword of the six sages) Bow of light must be collected, no arrows are necessary.

I'm willing to make a discord server if people want to further discuss things like:

Things we can skip e.g Sheikah Slate

Things we can't skip e.g Great Plateau (paraglider)

Things we can avoid e.g Food items, some weapons.

Other things to consider e.g Wind blight with a single arrow, less melee weapons needed

ive always been really interested in low% and this seems really cool

also @linny356 the bow of light is not required, ancient arrows also work

i wouldnt say this is the same as 100% for it do display 100% on the map, all you need to do is find all locations and do all shrines, towers and koroks. The only things you dont need are armor upgrades and quests, which are in the 100% category

ok thanks, i know how to do it now anyway you just need to hold w and click somewhere during world gen you are then able to move the camera before you press start after you press start though it does count as the first input, you can see from the autosplitter it just means that you can start facing the ground for: reach bedrock break dirt or any other ore getting a view of you surroundings for any other runs

i think its quite useful not sure if its allowed though

I was speedrunning reach closest border when i came across this no idea how i did this but my w key got stuck when i entered the menu and then i had to press escape before i could use my mouse.
