Ive noticed bhop link doesn't work and i cant find anything else. Why is this?

While I was trying to practice the 0g speedrun I saw that wr holder had taken fall damage when he jumped off the rock next to the barrels, and it seemed to slow him down a bit, but when you jump down the left of the mountain and land on these two barrels it will actually push you, perhaps being even quicker than wr
