Leaderboard has been updated.
You can now submit runs in Kunoichi and Craftopian!
Also, a few additions have been made to the rules.
Please feel free to post any comments or questions you may have.
I am very late in replying. Sorry! Thank you for setting up the category. I have also applied to make a new run.
I would like to try glitchless eventually.
Thank you all for your feedback.
First of all, we all agree that the use of turbo controllers in the normal category should not be allowed, so I will add this to the rules.
As for the request to use the turbo controller, we will discuss it once. We are still unsure if anyone will want to use it, and we want to keep the barriers to participation as low as possible without causing unfairness.
Rumia is cute.
Very detailed testing, thanks!
I haven't had any problems with rapid fire without the turbo controller. You can mash and aim for the fastest speed with hurt fingers, or you can go the route of drinking yellow potions and focusing on something other than rapid fire.
I agree with you that the turbo controller is a tool assist. It's not allowed in the normal category, but I'm ready to have a separate category for it if someone wants to use it.
This text is a translation of the above post into Japanese. If you can read English, you don't need to read this one.
皆さんの意見を聞きたいです。 この文は日本語ですが、英語や他の言語でも機械翻訳である程度は応対できます。 よろしくお願いします。
Hello everyone. Rumia is cute.
I heard a discussion on another game about the pros and cons of using a turbo controller. Rapid fire is also very important for speedruns in this game. But it hurts your fingers and some people may not be able to do it due to their physical handicap.
If someone wants to do a run of this game using autofire, I am thinking of creating a new category to separate them. Also if you have already posted a run and are using autofire let me know.
I'd like to hear your opinions. This text is in English, but I can respond in Japanese and other languages with machine translation to some extent. Please let me know what you think.
Hello! This is the first loop of the web-trial ver, a run to beat Marisa. It is shorter and less difficult than the Full Game, so please try it.
Also, I removed "Any%" from the category name, and only listed the difficulty level. There are currently no major glitches, so this should be fine. If you have any comments about the leaderboards or rules, please let me know.

Hi! I have submitted a run in the Swamp King category with a leaderboard. And in addition to that, I did a run for the Winged King. If you have the time, I would like to see this category set up.
There is also a video of the run. If a leaderboard is created, I will submit an application.
Thanks!I submitted the run as soon as possible. It would be great if more people would play this game.
I also think it would be nice if the timing of the timer was written into the rules.
I don't think Any% needs to be sensible, since the only time you can use your partner is in stage 5. If someone says they want it, you can think about it then. Any%NG+ is only 6-4, so...I don't think anyone would do it for sure.
Thanks for the response! And if there's no particular problem, I'd like to see the Any% board added when you have time. Then I'll submit my run above. I think it would make it easier for others to submit as well. This will cover most of the rules.
Hi! I heard from someone who plays speedrun that the full release version doesn't require you to complete all the stages to see the ending.
If you complete 1-6, stage 3 is released, if you 3-5, stage 5 is released, and if you 5-5, stage 6 is released. Stages 2 and 4 do not need to be completed.
Any% of the game is intended to be completed in the shortest amount of time, so it may not be necessary to require you to complete all stages. The current Any% could be renamed something like All Stages.
There's also a video of a test run with those rules. Stages 5 and 6 without enchant were very difficult.
Awesome! I have submitted my runs. Also, the number of players in "Any% Multi Crab" is now 1.
If you choose "quit" in the tutorial that will take you to a new game file, you can skip the tutorial and go to the stage selection screen. Also, you are now allowed to spend 1000G at your disposal before the timer starts. These can be added to the rules. I'll leave it up to you.
One more thing. After quitting tutorial 1, you can also start with 1-1 without even choosing a prologue.
In this case, if you also go through 6-1 and complete 6-4, it might be similar to the Early Access version of the NG category.
I think that's fine for the idea of categories. I think Normal is the quickest, but I'd like to try the upper difficulty levels sooner or later as they sound interesting. It's hard though.
I made a video of the Single Crab and Multi Crab runs in NG+ to try out. I can submit them anytime once the leaderboards are made.
I can't decide where to start in the NG category since they've added tutorials and prologues. I've come up with a few plans and I hope you'll consider them.
Plan 1 Enter Tutorial 1 and do all the tutorials.
Plan 2 Enter Tutorial 1 and then select "Pause" > "Skip Tutorial" to do only the mock battle.
Plan 3 Enter Tutorial 1 and select "Quit" to go to the stage selection screen. After that, start from the "Prologue". In this case, however, "Tutorial 1" does not have a clear mark on it.
In both cases, if you complete the "Prologue", you will not need to select 6-1.
The timing of the start could be when you choose "Campaign" -> "New Game" on the title screen, or if you're on Plan 3, when you choose "Prologue" -> "Difficulty".
The full version has weaker enemies and more money to earn, so it's easier to run the NG category. I'm seeing people in Japan wanting to take on speedrun, and I think it's going to increase the number of runners.
Thanks for the reply. Changing the leaderboard is not a problem when you have time.
I don't have run videos on the new version yet, but I can provide them if needed. No rules have been set yet regarding difficulty and stages, but I will try to do a breakthrough run from 1-1 to 6-4 on one difficulty level.
I don't know the difference between the PC and Switch versions, as I only have the PC. I'd like to seek other people's opinions.
Hi! Finally, the full version of "Fight Crab" has been released. It's a great game!
So we need to reorganize the leaderboard categories as well. I think NG and NG+, Single and Mulch Crab should stay the same, but we would like to come up with rules for difficulty and platform selection.
The Early Access version of the leaderboard could be moved elsewhere as an older version. The only runners were myself and teddyras.
The game had frequent updates right after its release, but it's already been about a year and a half since its release and there haven't been any major updates recently. If there are any major changes coming in the future, we will consider changing the rules and adding categories for each version.
A leaderboard in Overdungeon has been created! But the rules were tentatively set by me and have not been discussed as necessary. Please give us lots of feedback.
It was pointed out to me that there are some differences between the two, so I decided to tabulate them separately. If you have any other thoughts on this, please post them here.
Also, future versions will be updated and any major changes to the game will be looked at again.
