nope regular ps4. The loads in PS4 is a little random but I always press start as soon as a cutscene is shown.

I believe it is both characters and stage loading (Depending on the characters and stage design). This happened on Street Fighter where a designed stage takes about 10-15 seconds to load but if you put to the training stage it takes 5 seconds to load.

Pretty much anyone that has a strength boost are useful in a speed run and with Gears its a whole new level on a speed run.

Understandable, Arcade mode should be put on hold until everything is settled.

Depends on the game itself, Arcade has its own timer. The Mishima story mode requires RTA.

As for Arcade Speed Run should we put this as the rules:

Arcade - Easy to Very Hard Difficulty 1/2 Rounds Any Time Limit

There is already a timer in the game so RTA is not necessary.

After performing some speed run testing on both gears and no gears, the run was not bad at all. The time between gears and no gears are about 3 to 4 minute difference during the run and like I said in the previous Forum the opponents gears appear randomly no stat difference until meeting Brainiac his strength and defense is ridiculous when facing him with no gears. I'll perform an actual speed run with and without gears next week.

And unfortunately the player can't remove opponents gears during the ladder, if a player sees catwoman they have an option of leaving and restarting the run. And since the opponents the player face is random except Brainiac so are their gears so this like a gamble version of a speed run. I'll start practicing the run and let everyone know how it goes on a new forum.

I know this is a super early thread but just curious, since Pokken DX for the Switch is coming this September, is a new leaderboard needed or just update the Category?

Category - Ladders (No Gears only) - Difficulty (Very Easy to Very Hard) [Full Game]:

1. Beginner Ladder - Timer starts when selecting a character with no gear and stops on final hit on Brainiac.
2. Intermediate Ladder - Timer starts when selecting a character with no gear and stops on final hit on Brainiac.
3. Advance Ladder - Timer starts when selecting a character with no gear and stops on final hit on Brainiac.
