Hello mods,

Unfortunately my YT channel was banned and none of the run links work anymore. I don't want to wait for this to be resolved as it never may with YT. I reuploaded the run to Twitch. Is it possible for you to just change the link in the submission or should I resubmit the run?

The video is now here:

Cheers, Pawel

Hello. I just submitted a run I did on my PS4. Would it be possible to add it as another platform? Also, it seems that the load times are much longer on the PS4 than they are on the Switch. Maybe it would be worth it to put the in-game timer as a column in the leaderboards? I don't expect this game to have a long speedrunning career but I would appreaciate if you considered those suggestions ;)

I just watched the TAS video that Angrylanks uploaded and noticed that it does a pause buffer when dealing with the three horizontal flames in Energy Zone:

Is this a viable non-TAS strat or does it depend too much on the current cycle of the flames?

On a related note, is it difficult to determine the current cycle of the flames? Is there some magic behind it? Would it be enough to know how long the cycle takes and match it to the time one starts the stage? This probably requires some maths as I don't think the cycle takes a nice number of, say 10 seconds ;) but there is enough time from the start of the stage to the flames to know which part of the cycle one will bump into.

So far there doesn't seem to be a lot of buzz around this game but I hope it changes in the future as it's a really good platformer and it has built-in time challenges which might invite new people to speedrunning.

I'm mostly focus on retro games, as far as speedrunning goes, but I do trophy guides for PS4 and I had a lot of fun going for the speedrun trophies in this game.

One of them requires the player to beat all the bonus challenges in fewer than 45 minutes. I thought this would be a good idea for an extra category. I streamed my attempts at getting this trophy and I would gladly go back to improve my time if more people decided to join ;)

I've been recently shown a clip of one of Bednak's previous PBs where at the very start he shows a strange glitch in level 4, very casually mentions a 'wrong warp' and then resets the game.

Does anyone know anything about how and why this happens and if there's any potential of some time save there? The video has been posted in September 2017 and I'd think if it was something interesting I would have seen this in the recent months but I haven't and I'm just wondering what this is all about.

Hey everyone,

My setup consists of the NES Classic Mini with the controller that came with the setup (more or less a standard NES controller). Is that acceptable for this game?

Cheers, Pawel
