Most time saved from a run? Probably Wrong Warp from Oot. Skips basically the whole game.
Just an idea but I figured since there are only a handful of dev created levels right now there could be a category for speedrunning each level? Similar to what the Goldeneye speedrunning community have. Even shows your overall time at the end.
It can go faster I believe but not by much.
I think the point that trips most people up is on level 25, when you do the jump right before the gate opens. If the jump isn't good you fall on 26.
I've been playing non-stop over the past couple of days, trying to beat my own PB and the closest I got was a 2:24:725(dha's time) I can say with certainty that the 1:50 cycle is not possible and if I'm wrong then you have permission to meet me and kick me in the balls but honestly I'd but a bounty on anyone who can beat the current WR.
No 2:24:625. You mean 675? Also I stopped adding times cause they got less frequent.
Planned to make this video before Christmas but got caught up in other things. You'll have to forgive some of the bad quality here and there, I'm fairly new to editing.

As I said before. Try some different strats if you feel your current ones aren't getting you anywhere. Even a few milliseconds can make a huge difference.
The jump on stage 5 can really save you a lot of time.

This is a great run cause it gives all of us an even greater goal to reach.
Just recently DHA proved that reaching the 2:00 cycle on level 25 is actually possible. Reaching the 2:00 cycle now means that 2:20s times are now a reality. His current PB stands at 2:25:650 but his recorded version is 2:25:975(still a great time) Achieving a time like this requires a completely perfect run with lots of optimization. This is an incredible find as knocking off another 10 seconds sounded impossible at first. Here is a link to his times.
