Anyone got any strats to use if you get to bosses without the UPGRADE? or you die and have to replay the boss?

Like should you use a ninjitsu magic (collect more later?) or is there a safe strategy just more timely.

I got one for Round1 boss (no magic), also Round2 (no magic), but struggling with Round3 onwards!

So Ive tried tapping and holding the button but still cant get the 'sound' speed your getting on hits (especially on L2 boss.. is there a tech to fast fire?

So Ive read this

The regular exit is reached by the standard method of pressing up on the d-pad when in front of the door. The alternative exit is reached by instead entering the door by pressing down. Most of the alternative exits work as shortcuts, but not all.

However pressing down does nothing?! Am I doing something wrong? Is the door time based as I need to get to it by a certain time?

Hi Can anyone offer any advice on how to 1-cycle this boss?

I'm able to get him on the 2-cycle but cant get enough hits on the first cycle.

Anyone have a set of icons for the livesplits... Ive seen a few people using them but cant find any online to download.

OK so moved on to the right and to Dr. Mario... So seems this game is about patterns and timing, slightly different than SMB3. Also the time hasn't an internal clock so its hard to see how well your doing to the millisecond compared to other times. So playing this don't forget to hold DOWN, also the 1/2 button rotate the pill different. So even though we have records on here there is a guy on YouTube which has quicker times than those, my aim is to beat his times not the times listed just here.

So this is a new way of playing games for me, therefore any tricks and tips I learn for each level on Super Mario Bros. 3 I will post below... Also if you have any questions on the videos then please just comment below (or message me etc..)
