There are a few small tricks possible on xbox series x, for example the abuse of the save point in the hellpit should be possible on console. To be honest, since I never ran Any% NMG I am not so knowledgable on the version differences between pc and console

I tested it a few times now and I can't get the Bossfight skip... I managed to skip the cutscene before the fight nearly everytime, but for some reason even if i mimic the strats which others on the leaderboard did. I can't damage Anakin after that.

@Cursed1701 Im not sure if injecting saves with a cheat modul works, but you could definitly use that with an r4 card on an regular ds system. If you could inject save data with an cheat modul there is actually no way to tell if somebody used that.

came around a big problem for some kind of that run since a friend of mine and i discovered a moding tool which is capable of generating a save file with preset locations on grottos. For example you could give yourself the legacy boss grottos all at one location. (or close to each other)

i mean if its endgame you should not need yggdrasil dews in the speedrun. Still depends on the amount of grind you put into the game

I gave NG Bossrush a shot. Im down to 38:50 with still some big timesaves. (I included Vidian now) I think this can be a pretty cool category

you can use them. just look at crrool's run. Just the use of Ram Watch (which would give u unfair advantage since u can see the rng seed you are on right away) is not allowed.

I submitted a "starlight%" run. I hope that more people start running the game with shorter runs like that ^^ Just used the first run i got on that objective so there is still much space for improvement exspecially in the beginning and the 3rd and 4th boss fight ^^
