Amok Runner is $20.49 CAD on Steam and that was the first challenge.. it's actually cheaper and more fair this time around tbh. or was there some sort of free version that people were using? At least Charlie chose a game that 100's of thousands of people already owned in their library instead of a new shovelware game that had a sizeable price tag.

it's two different columns, you can sort them.

Yeah in the official rules:

We will only allow runs on the current patch of the game. We are aware there are different versions of the game, so we are only allowing the English copy of the game that can be found on Steam. On Steam, App ID 12390, Build ID: 252046.

GMG is out of stock but CDKeys seems to have sporadic stock, that's where I would go.

In regards to the G2A mention, they aren't all illegit sellers on there, far from it. It's like eBay, these resellers have a reputation score and on the Exodus page, the seller there has had 89207 positive transactions in the last year... Do you really think that guy is committing some kind of fraud? I really don't understand why that site gets such a bad reputation, I've purchased from them 100's of times and never an issue.

I've actually had a much bigger problem with developers revoking totally legitimate bundle keys Like, they have the power to bulk revoke all keys if they want.

Even when the bundle site shows receipts that the developer was paid 100% for the keys, there's nothing they can do. Developers have the power to revoke all the keys if they want. I've had it happen about 4-5 times before, usually years later. Never had an issue with G2A.

Weird, try using a VPN or something? Still shows in stock, I have it in my cart and I can check out if I wanted... I'm coming from Canada so maybe try a Canadian VPN?

Hmm interesting, maybe YouTube streaming will work slightly better for me, as I can view YouTube far easier than anything. I use 4 cell phones with mobile data at 512 kbps merged together with Speedify to make a 2 mbps connection, and I can't even view a twitch stream at all, but YouTube works great for me.

One more hour until my download of the game finishes so I'll be able to give the game a shot soon! Glad I already had it in my Steam library from 2014. It's really awesome that Moist is doing this on an older title like this.

After watching deluxyze's run, I can't imagine I will stand a chance in this competition, but I still want to try post a run or two. But do I need to be streaming this? I think Moist said in his video that it would be necessary, but my internet connection is SUPER slow. I'd have to stream in like 240p at the most. It's going to be unbearable to watch, but technically would be streamed.. Anyone know?

When you can buy a copy for $1... Piracy doesn't seem very practical..
