I'm thinking about retiming top runs (i.e. sub-hour and runs close to that) as a fun side-project and I want to know how the loads should be timed.
What exactly is defined as "starts on file select"? Does timing start when you press + to bring up the file select menu and load up a new file? Or, does it start when you press +, a, or b, to start a fresh file?
TL;DR: Rules on when to start timing for SM64 are kind of vague and I need some clarification.
I ask this because it's a switch port of an older title, and if 3D All Stars is allowed, why can't this be allowed as well?
Basically the title, but I want to know if there’s a possible setup for ACE on my USA cartridge, which I do NOT know the version of.
Thanks in advance, m_riss
Basically the title, but I changed the theme colors from default to #7FFFFF and I want a way to change it back easily
Basically the title, because I am really sick and tired of seeing the dream bullshit at this point. Dream cheated. For all of the 9 year old Dream fans who are inevitably going to complain "BuT DrEaM WoULn'T ChEaT, He'S ToO GoOd FoR ThAt", grow the fuck up already, we're tired of your bullshit.
What are we supposed to do now that flash is now blocked in all major browsers?
I would only do this if the videos were too long for one recording
Will the nintendo switch port of SM64 be added as a separate platform like n64, emulator, or virtual console?
My idea is, you need to buy everything from all of the shops in the entire game in order to complete the run. Timing would start upon gaining control of link like in any%, and end upon clicking buy on the final item in the last shop.
Edit: I'm going to include any NPC's that sell stuff (i.e. Beedle), just so I don't forget anything
