Hey y’all, I just want to find my pending runs and they’re not where they are before the update. Where did they go? (If i’m blind, lemme know lol)
Whenever I go to follow a new game or revisit a game that I am following, the follow button always displays follow instead of following and I am unable to follow any new games. Is there a fix for this? Am I doing something wrong?
So the Epic Mickey 2 community decided to revamp the leaderboards to make it look better. But while I was doing so, I came across this poorly formatted area, so I decided to remove some of the unnecessary parts. But there were runs tied to them. Specifically, there were three different variables all doing the same thing and I removed two. But when I returned to the boards, my heart sank as none of the runs were there! I soon found out that the runs had not been rejected automatically, simply removed from the boards. It turns out that reverifying the runs gets them back, but this way is slow and tedious and I don't know if I'm missing any runs. Is there an easy way to get all these runs reverified?
i noticed that a lot of the games i am following have custom badges next to their names (ie, super mario odyssey has a multimoon) and i am wondering how to do that
how about milliseconds are added to ties because some runs in the tie have to be faster than others
for timing reasons, we have decided on changing the main timing method in what the golf from igt to rta
what effects will this have on the runs without rta timing/video proof and on the leaderboard in general?
i want to add a subcategory to the 'intro' il for what the golf, splitting the versions but i don't know how
i am a mod for the what the golf speedrun community and we decided upon merging the 'mouse' and the 'controller/touchscreen' due to new strats being found, etc. i am not sure of how to merge the two subcategories into the 'nmg' subcategory. if anyone could teach me how, that'd be great!
He submitted runs with 0.001 as the timer and never gonna give you up as the video and the mods verified them. I love this community.
I was thinking about a category a while back about how this category might become a thing, but it seems a bit too crazy and I’d like your opinion on it.
Objective: Speak to all 413 NPCs in the game. This includes all characters that have a name tag that shows up after you talk with them for the first time.
Timing: Starts on first frame of movement and ends when you press a to talk with the last NPC.
Here’s the list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1ipNEm_-TV3kjvhvagctGLoVBC-3ueLgcibm4s0dloak/htmlview# Pictures: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7pdf5p9sfi5r9zy/AADcb0e4X_3ZwUeY6qzlSoSqa?dl=0
Objective: complete all shrines, koroks, activate all towers, and get all locations (basically get 100% of the map).
Timing: starts on first frame of movement and ends upon final hit of Dark Beast Ganon
Note: Upon finishing said run, runner must open up the map to prove they got 100% of the map (percent shows in bottom left corner after Ganon is defeated).
So the glitch works because of an oversight by the developers. In order to make the transitions smoother during fade-outs, they kept the game running during the first couple frames of loading screens. So by exiting to the main menu and loading up a stage during the last couple frames of fade-out, you can store the stage, hence the name Stage Storage, and put it in the main menu. Here you can actually play the level, but returning back to the game will result in crash, that is, unless you A, reset. B, go to the Impossible Challenge, or C, exit the game. Doing any of those will reset the glitch, except for A. If you do A, you will return to a version of the tutorial and the selected level (except 2D stages and I believe FPS stages as well). Completing this version of the tutorial will result in nothing. It loads a regular game (I think). But for some reason, the game behaves weirdly with the TV level. It goes flying (as you saw in my video where I discovered the glitch). This glitch only works on stages. It doesn’t work on wires, computers, and other loading screen type behaviors. If you die in a fake tutorial level (except the first one) it softlocks the game and you have to close the game. Upon returning to the game, you will notice that everything is normal (by normal, I mean a clean save file).
Maybe the impossible challenge and show to a friend can be categories in the ce Timing starts on the first frame of clicking the button to get into gameplay and ends when the screen fades after touching the last flag
Let’s make this a thing. I saw Mayro playing this game and it doesn’t have a leaderboard.
No one has beaten this 13 year old record. It’s insane. No new tricks, no nothing.
Imagine if we had a category called Beat Ganon where runners try to beat Calamity/Blights as fast as possible; kind of like an IL run.
Timer starts when the screen is completely black after weakling into the Sanctum and ends when the screen is completely black after delivering the final blow.
What if you bounce off Cappy midair, then on the frame that you land, you jump. Maybe that will count as you jumping, idk. This might come out n handy in min caps.
