100% time attack strat:

By doing this, you can have infinite evert on a fresh file for 100%. This is very advantageous, at least for the first two levels.

I imagine the setup would be included in the time if this is allowed.

Just checked how level unlocking works:

So the next level loads when you hit the flag and press space. As long as you see the black screen with "Ready?" or whatever message pops up, the next level is unlocked.

So I guess for this strat you'd hit the level 7 flag in the lowest evert level (sub-world 8 or whatever it's called), then press space, then immediately go to the menu and do the time attack thing. Idk. Does that sound right?

Wait, so can you just exit the level the second you hit the flag on level 7 to go set this up? Or do you have to wait until level 8 loads?

Oh, ok. I didn't know that was already done in 100%. Cool!

In the video I linked, I show myself going from the start of world 8, to level 7 in time attack mode, everting down once, then quickly navigating back to world 8 so I have infinite upward evert.

Not sure if this is allowed because you have to go to the menu mid-way through the run. I was thinking that, if it was allowed, there would have to be the restriction that you would need to be actually in world 8 before leaving to do the time attack glitch. Maybe you don't need that restriction, though, as it probably takes the same amount of time to load from the menu as it does to load from completing level 7.

Is this allowed?
