Content mods are helping with game requests as well. I'll try to get together a list of exact roles when I have more time. Working with site staff to discuss changes and prioritize issues is another thing on the list. We also want to get a few more people involved eventually, but we're rolling this out slowly.
I personally like "any%", but "Beat the game" is fine. I dislike "ArbitraryWord%", but generally I don't make a big deal out of it. I think it looks dumb.

Pac was working with the DKC community on synchronization for DKC boards, which probably extends to Megaman to some extent. There's not an official timeline. For clarification, I think the Megaman screenshot linked might just be the old board that was there previously and is now only visible to site staff.

It need to get finished and implemented in an agreeable fashion on both sites. I'd like this discrepancy to be resolved as much as anyone else.
The levels are really short and average like 30 seconds. Gas can RNG saves like 1-2 seconds in an optimal playthrough so "good" playthroughs would all be within about 2 seconds of each other. There is also no way to choose a specific level other than to play the game up to that point.
I don't personally think it warrants individual level tracking.

shoe: If you could discuss it with the super mods this would be helpful. IWBTG fangames, Minecraft mods, SM64 Rom Hacks, and ROBLOX mods get really cumbersome to process throught the game request form as there are a ton of them and some percentage of them are overly trivial mods. Ideally the site would have functionality to forward these requests directly to series mods. Also series mods can't follow series forum posts currently.

It's stupid, immature, and wasted everyone's time, and you don't seem to understand that. If you took issues with the series moderation, maybe it would've been worth discussing prior to doing blatantly stupid things with the board. Additionally, your behavior seems like a pattern of drama stirring. You're temp banned for blackmailing a user to retract posts. It's just a joke, so I'm sure you'll understand.
Javi17: If runs are being approved, there is no inherent need to add more moderators. Saying you like the game and run it isn't really a great reason to add a moderator.

Comment on timers:
For most games a run doesn't need a timer for accurate time tracking. The time on the timer splits is also commonly a second or two off the actual time of the run due to user error. The time of the run is actually the time of the gameplay, not necessarily the time on the timer.
A common exception to not needing a timer could be if a livesplit auto-splitter is used for time without loads. That would be a good reason to require a timer on the screen. If there's not a good reason to require a timer, it shouldn't be required. This seems to me to be what the majority of boards are doing.

There's not a great or standardized way to handle this, just give it your best guess.
(Console), (PC), (1993), etc are all fine. CPU is non-standard, but if you think that makes it clearer, it's probably a fine way to go here.
I think adding empty categories is fine for having the board organized properly.
Generally the line is drawn at mashing spacebar vs actual actions. Probably a little more than selecting multiple choice items as well. You'll probably find a few games on the site that don't even meet that metric.
For a while I was doing "If it's a Steam game, add it", then Steam lowered the bar drastically on everything.
I would rather archive boards (take them out of the search bar or something?) than outright delete them. Deleting boards on a whim will make people mad.
"If a visual novel exists all visual novels need approved" is not the case. We're not adding them. We're still figuring out what to do with the old ones. The form says we're not adding them, because we're not adding them.

funkydrops: If the Issac community sees this as an issue, they need to sort this out. Since you don't have runs on the board, I don't think you're necessarily the person to handle this. Separately, I don't like "Game doesn't require verification", but I think we need something like "Automatically approve runs below threshold", which isn't implemented.

European_Union: I think the Mario Kart runners and some of the existing moderators need to come to some consensus on what they want done with the boards. @scrubjr The posts were deleted 6 months ago. There's not an inherent need to add really short categories. I don't know the details of this game. If the people who have run the game want different moderators, they need to present a consensus of who they want moderating.
@SpiderSponge The plan is to add score tracking eventually. Users get annoyed when we delete boards with 40 runs on a whim, so I don't think it's really your sole decision to delete the board at this point. If you don't want to maintain it any more, please add one of the other runners to moderate it.
