I was appointed moderator and I've since moved it to the new "No Added Rules" category! Thank you for alerting me to this!
Hello! I would like to request moderator permissions for UNO (Ubisoft) https://www.speedrun.com/uno_ubisoft. I've held the world record in three categories for over a year and had record in a fourth until a few weeks ago. Unlike most scenarios on this thread, I'm not contacting the site in regards to inactive moderators or slow approval of runs, but neglect for care of the page. Multiple cheated, edited and invalid runs have been approved and the moderators either left them on the leaderboards with no action or taken an extended period of time to respond to the inquiries regarding said runs. The rules listed for each category are also incredibly vague and could be explained in far greater detail, to help encourage new runners to submit to the page. I've reached out to the moderators on other social media platforms in the past and they've told me they don't need help moderating the page at this time, but invalid runs keep getting submitted, with what feels like, no proper analysis of the gameplay. For a game with most runs ending in times under two minutes, I see no excuse for this type of carelessness and I truly believe the community and page could benefit from a new moderator taking action. Please let me know if there's anything I can do or if I am able to be granted moderator permissions. Thank you for your time!
You are correct. At the beginning of the video, you can see none of the added rules selected. This run would be invalid and a moderator should remove it from the page.
I agree with Divad! The two versions are drastically different and shouldn't be in the same category!
Since there's no definitive start to finish, I don't think a beat the game or 100% category would fit, but I'll add an All Levels Category!
Is the world record run recorded on an emulator? If not, how did you capture the footage from the Sega Game Gear™?
