im all for world runs. levels could be a bit redundant since 90% of them are just running right the entire time without losing speed. world runs could be interesting though.

the difference between dupe glitches and this is that this was an intentional feature designed by the team whereas dupe glitches are design oversights. so i wouldnt consider this a glitch.

i think it would be an interesting addition if milliseconds were added to the timing. perhaps there would be a cap such as any run under 8 minutes would have milliseconds. the record is evolving at such a rate that it is coming down to the millisecond. i'd like to see some takes on this as i think it would be a good idea.

well, talking from personal experience, I can say that retroarch on android is allowed. I can't speak for any other ones though.

So, earlier today I achieved a 22 second 1-4 100% run. When submitting the run, speedrun.com glitched and made it duplicate my run. BOTH RUNS WERE REJECTED for being the same. I submitted the run again, clarifying what had happened and got rejected again for submitting the same run. plz fix this and gimme my record like what

this mightn't work for you but this is how I got consistent with it. basically, right after the goombas, I jump onto the 3rd step and then a full jump to the top.

I play smb1 on android and on RetroArch, there is an option to select a Nestopia core. Can this core be used for runs of this game?

Extra Info: I think this should be a category because it's a simple level but with a twist that makes it harder to be consistently good at. This probs won't get added but oh well.
