With ljh05's basically perfect Eric fight of around 16 seconds (starting after the cutscene and ending when they get a point), the only improvements possible are either new routes or better movement. It seems 43-50 seconds is the average time to get the jerry can and the average time to reach the crates in the garage is about 1:00-1:15~. With all of this, I think sub-1:20 is not possible with the current route. I would love to be proven wrong though!

i'm making a thread to document most the shit i know because i feel bad when i just start spouting in the discord.

first thing i want to talk about is how clipping and the such works. i honestly could not give a solid answer, but what i do know is it usually starts flinging your body so fast that it sends you through walls. () the second thing was a route for truth%, because if you do what i was doing in the video above, you can sometimes clip out of the house but not into the fence area with eric. this means you can completely skip the eric encounter and the piano. i'll record a video on this later probably. the third thing is that i completely believe the attic% has the most optimal route it can have. i don't believe there's going to be any rerouting, since how linear the attic is.
