When a diligent mod looks into a video, they check the frames, any form of edits to the original...its a lengthy process, becomes even more lengthy with popular games. If someone has a WR spot and they send a screenshot, I'd be turning that down...but again, see what they think

Yeah, sucks. Why have the restriction? I like punchy usernames...but that's just me acting like a silly child
You can only have a username that has 5 characters or more, yet some have usernames under 5 characters. What's the situation with that? (doesn't really matter, curiosity)

I agree if a game isn't as popular, it requires less strictness, and as time goes along if it grows in popularity, with increased runners, then things get taken more seriously...that's a fair view. The part about mods verifying their own runs...I feel iffy about that one. I'm in the process of uploading runs / setting stuff up, I wouldn't verify my own stuff if I had a mod position, I would ask another member of the team to check it. If anything, that should change, as self verification is bias
Verifying runs that make it on leaderboards should be done by good, responsible people...not just willing, good volunteers, if the community is to develop. People that are semi-serious at all about their runs want this, considering the effort and time runners put in. I've even seen runs verified by the very people uploading their "own" run, I don't really agree with that either, bit bias. Isn't like the person that uploaded it would ever reject the legitimacy of it, even if that mod is considered trustworthy, but I guess that's how it is. Depends how serious you are about wanting things done right, without any shadow of doubt. Its good to disagree, makes things constructive
Welcome to the community. My 2 cents: Your favourites games are likely popular, and chances are you will struggle to get on the leader board...unless of course if you are exceptional. This may be an unpopular opinion, but go ahead. My advice is targeting fresh games, check out the web...get yourself out there in new areas as a starting point (I'll be doing the same)
Taking it a step further, a reliable mod should have a respectable CV in the gaming community. At the very least a successful runner, good standing in other communities / public profile, it helps. It is a job, and an existing team verifying games is the HR department. High quality mods = Better management
The glitch for getting stuff fast on the bouncing box etc. Has this glitch been patched for N-Sane Trilogy?

Hmm, man. How do you prove the typing is legit and not tool assisted? Pretty sure you could do something that makes a "typing run" non the wiser when it comes to how fast you can type. With a regular game, its clear to see a tool assist...with typing, thats another story. But hey...if its aloud then cool
Go on the web and dig some up, plenty out there (especially new ones)
