Had same issue, did you pick up the antidote in viridian? That's what was causing my crash, I even had the same blue screen.

As a post followup, followup, that nido got me through the entire run quite well! God or not, it worked fine.

lvl 10 stats are 32, 19, 16, 18,16....I didn't get a chance to see level 9 stats before I saw your comment.

I think I did it right, what should his stats be at level 4? Mine is L4 18 HP 10 ATK 9 Def 10 Speed 9 Special

I'm using the input recommended in the beginners guide which uses an input video that dabombstew made for the "level 4 god nido" , I counted 9 times back and forth then back into the grass on the second tile up and then right and back and forth twice. However when I perform it after I go into the grass the tile immediately to the right creates a level 2 nido, consistently. I'll try to create a video. Sorry, I'm new to this, just learned the blue glitch run about a week ago. What setup would you recommend to record my video/inputs?

I keep attempting the Nidoran manipulation and I always get a level 2 nidoran on the first tile to the right of the first point in which you enter the grass. It's happening consistently so I'm doing something to make a different nidoran appear and I can't figure out what. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I edited the post: it was the antidote, at the time I was unaware of it impacting the run. Now if I could just master the capture side of ditto manip (I'm still using save states as I haven't mastered the run), I'd be on track for a solid speed run.

Another guy posted the same issue, but I never saw a resolution so I thought I'd bring it up to see if I went wrong anywhere. My trainer ID is 30422 as I read is correct with proper manipulation, I also have successfully manipulated the pidgey, the ditto, and made sure my money is at 1115. But after the glitching and then the swapping, the menu and screen turn dark blue on exiting the menu and the game crashes. I figured out where I went wrong, I picked up the antidote and never got rid of it.

• Did another run without the antidote and it worked, have done it subsequent times now too.
