anti, by accident, managed to get 530 grenades in one of his runs a while back: https://discordapp.com/channels/139535251235012609/271678097600806912/675720041114763336

This works because of when "turret mode" is engaged the game stores your current weapon and it's ammo in memory to return them to you later. However, using clothes replays in a specific way will prevent the game from writing to the ammo counter again and after leaving turret mode it will give you the correct weapon with the incorrect ammo value.

In below segments you can substitute grenades with whatever weapon you want to manipulate the ammo of.

Quick summary:

  • Switch to a weapon with a lot of ammo before starting Phnom Penh '86
  • Keep this weapon equipped throughout the entire mission, you can switch away after the Mission Passed screen.
  • Switch to grenades after starting Supply & Demand
  • Double clothes replay into the marker, if you don't get it just play a clothes replay when you're driving the boat, the only thing that matters is getting in flintstones mode.
  • Switch to Kruger or M60 and press RMB to cancel flintstones mode before you reach the dealer boat. Shooting to cancel flintstones will NOT work.
  • You should now get the grenades at the end of the mission.

Known issues that can mess it up:

  • If you die after setting up the ammo in Phnom Penh '86 and before you get the grenades, the value gets set to 0 and you lose grenades instead.
  • If you save and reload between Phnom Penh '86 and Supply & Demand the value gets set to 0 and you lose grenades instead.

There's way too many categories displayed at once right now.

What I suggest is: Combine All Heists + Criminal Mastermind under one category, then split them by subcategories. This applies to Main and Doomsday heists. Hide all IL heists under Miscellaneous, as they were earlier.

So the format would look something like Main Categories:

  1. Main Heists -> Splits into Criminal Mastermind and Any difficulty
  2. Doomsday Heists - same as above, and call it Doomsday Heists, not Doomsday Heist All Act's (which afaik isn't even grammatically correct). 3.-5. All Survivals, Lowrider Missions and Casino Missions

Miscellaneous Categories: Fleeca, Prison Break, Humane, Series A, Pac Std., Doomsday Act I, Doomsday Act II, Doomsday Act III

I personally don't like calling it "Any difficulty" in terms of Heists, maybe someone has a better term for runs that are not Mastermind compatible.

This is still in exploratory phase, but I figured it would be better to post it here than let it get lost in Discord logs.

Current idea is:

  • Move Ammu-Nation shooting range challenge to be the last thing you do before TbD waiting time
  • Before Ammu-Nation shooting challenge, make a save icon replay
  • After you're done with shooting challenge, dont walk out the door, instead warp, save the game and do the TbD wait thing. (at this point you can enter any interior again to cancel interior world, i.e ammu-nation).
  • After the wait, you have to navigate to TbD in the interior world. You can use pickups, peds, map and cars to help you out. This is not as hard as it sounds, you'll get the hang of it.
  • Do 12/13x TbD and pass Vigilante. Do the usual 50x Taxi, deliver the fares in interior world and after that enter the ammu-nation shooting range to cancel the interior world.
  • continue as normal.

Some small sample size tests I conducted: current {crash, ok, crash, ok, ok, ok, crash, ok, crash, ok} = 60% look behind on the drive {ok, ok, crash, ok, ok, crash, ok, ok, crash, ok} = 70% interior {ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, ok, crash, ok, ok} = 90%

RoK said he also did some testing and got 4/5 - pretty much the same as I did, but on a smaller scale.

Whenever submitting Co-op runs, I'll always be set as the Player 4 even thought I set myself as Player 1. This case is the same for 2 player co-op games, the one submitting will always be set as the last one and everyone else shifted one position backward to compensate for that.

  1. Start Loose Ends holding a phone call. Answer the call, glitching it using the fixed M4 spawn around the corner.
  2. Blow up all the cars in the mission. Shoot the admiral in the beginning and the barrel next to the Rumpo.
  3. Kill the 2 guys on the billboards and the 3 guys on the 2nd to top floor (one on the stairs leading to the top floor, one between the ice creams and the one standing near the previous guy). Kill the 5 guys standing around the briefcase.
  4. Pick up the briefcase and fly the heli to start Loose Ends again.
  5. Fly to the roof with the Sniper rampage, save replay here it if you want to, kill the new set of 5 guys that spawned around the briefcase.
  6. SPRINT over to the roof to clear the gap and land near the briefcase. Shoot the Rumpo with an MP5 (or another light weapon) to trigger the 4 aggressive NPC spawns and pick up the briefcase.
  7. Run around near staircase, going up and down it, throw in some occasional pauses at different spots. In the beginning be careful, there is likely an NPC around these stairs, he might not be but he could be, and he can deal some serious damage.
  8. If list 1 is completed and you feel like list 2 could be half-way completed by now, leave the compound using the different heli that spawned. Do NOT fly directly to SSA, leave the compound area flying WEST a little bit, towards Umberto's cafe, before turning to SSA.
  9. Finish off List 2 and deliver first 3 in List 3.
  10. Fly back to the same roof with the briefcase, stand and walk around the staircase again, throwing in some pause buffers just as before.
  11. If you've completed list 3 and think list 4 also has 3 completed now, fly to SSA and deliver last 3 cars.
  12. Fly to the helipad at the airport to complete both instances of the mission.

NOTE: Instadeliveries MAY NOT work if you have a rainy weather, spam replays to skip the rainy weather if you happen to get it.

  4. Check the list at SSA, if bottom 3 are complete: (this can be skipped -- after asset cutscene you can pause the game a good few times and jump into water/suicide) 3.1 suicide to fail the mission -- if not, pause&unpause until they are.

  5. Finish off list 2, deliver first 3 in List 3

  6. Start Dirty Lickin's, repeat the process used in the beginning.

Juju Engagement, using Juju Scramble strategies in Naval Engagement to avoid crashing.

  1. If you're just starting out with this strat it is recommended to get a large melee weapon before the start (large as in big enough to knock down an enemy).

  2. Kill everyone except for the one guy that spawns the 2 briefcases (shown in the video).

  3. Pick up the solo briefcase on the pier, as usual. Knock down the last remaining guy with a melee weapon or using your gun(demonstration). When he's knocked down on the ground, make a F3 replay running around him.

  4. Walk away from him as to not pick up the briefcases and kill him. (OPTIONAL) You can pick up one of the briefcases here, DONT pick up both of them.

  5. Drive to the café, at the front door activate the F3 replay, which should trigger two cutscenes and complete the mission.

The aim of this strat is to avoid cop stingers, which could potentially crash your game.

Doomsday Heists fucked the heist invite timers.

Doomsday Heist invite comes in after 1min 30s of being in the lobby. Main Heist invite comes in 30s after being in the lobby. Main Heist timer starts after the Doomsday Heist timer is already passed, doesn't matter if you have an active heist or not.

Switching to SP, getting a fast invite from your friends, starting the heist from house set as spawn point saves around 20 seconds compared to accepting the lester invites, IF you don't get shower cutscene.

Does anyone here NOT have a facility and can check out if it still takes 2min for the main heist invite to come in? Cheers.
