I have recently been trying to get back into running re2 but I keep having a crash within a couple seconds of the gas station or as soon as i reach the city. Its really frustrating and nothing I have tried has fixed the issue. That is besides down-patching the game to a version before ray tracing. Is this version allowed?

i have changed the title screen, the safe mode freddy scene and the ending cutscene. i dont believe any of these cause issues for the timing but i just want to makes sure. im planning on doing in bounds vanny ending so all the timing starts after and ends before the videos play.
