no its just luck if the game freezes or not, its just rare to get it correctly. I got it to work 2 times out of maybe 20+ attempts today

Ok so GuymanGuy1337, JustTortoise, and i as well as other non official runners such as Sluggo, Schnitzy, and Dub have agreed to change the rules for all run categories. Currently the final boss is bugged making it so we can no longer jump through him. The new rule we have agreed to is that jumping through the final boss is no longer allowed even if the bug goes away. This is due to the current final boss being bugged for way longer than expected. This change makes it so if the final boss were to fix and then bug again there wouldn't be another period of not being able to do runs. Currently there is a hard strat where you can jump behind the final boss, this is allowed for the time being. All current runs that jump through the final boss will be removed.

The final boss has been bugged for the last 11 days. You can't jump through him like normal meaning you have to go around which is too slow

Just timed all the NTWM cut scenes and again everyone has the same times being 25 milliseconds apart at most except for Jrgamer4u. His cut scene was about 3 seconds longer for the starting cut scene of NTWM.

I just timed the SCDA cut scenes for all the Any% oob runs and I think it is a hardware issue. I started the timer when hitting the loading zone and stopped it when the player was actionable. For both the starting cut scene and end cut scene of SCDA all players except for Jrgamer4u had the same times being as little as 10 milliseconds apart. For the starting cut scene of SCDA Jrgamer4u was 2 seconds longer and for the end cut scene his was 3 seconds longer. He is the only person who is dropping insane amounts of frames to the point where the recording is freezing which makes me think it is a hardware issue. I'm gonna check all the NTWM loading times and make sure.

if you're talking about cut scene times then they are the same for everyone

it isn't mentioned when you click on the view rules button for all the categories.

still pushing for the rules to be updated otherwise i can get the world record down to 11 mins

so I just submitted a run with a time of 11:43 cuz that's when I stopped the timer. But looking over the VOD the screen turns black to load the cut scene at 11:42.95. So does that count as a 11:43 still or a 11:42?

i currently have an official 11:46 (1 sec behind WR) being submitted but i beat the WR in a practice run.

Something along the lines of "No assistance from other players" needs to be added as a rule. This will cover other players activating your switches and using other players as platforms to reach new OOB areas which couldn't be reached by a solo player. Without this rule this could be easily exploited by having friends assist you.
