I know this is a late reply, but it might be helpful especially the fact that you have to make a new account to get the halo anyway, so deleting the badge in the inventory would be just fair. I am gonna think about it

its a bug on the game itself that you have to reset to get the halo. it sux alot but try it on a differnt device and it should work.
