So, figured to the zoomfasters for this game, it might be useful info - you can get infinite upward dashes still in combat.

Steps:

• Dash up (or diagonal) and keep holding up/etc.
• As close to apex of the dash as possible, use a light attack.
• Keep light attacking until dash recharges, as it will keep you from falling.
• Dash up, repeat.

The rhythm for this is really weird, imo, but it's something. It's not as fast as the old unlimited dash, but I hope it's helpful. It does make boss fights a little easier to be able to stay up on the ceiling until you plan to attack.
