Last night patch 2.0.2 dropped, We went through and found that the gravity pockets and crashes have been fixed. This means that Sonic 1 Tails submissions have been re-opened!
Are you using turbo in your runs?
I'll say this atm since it's IGT I can't see a problem with this maybe? Would have to ask the other mods just to be safe. Obviously no if RTA-TTTB goes through.
If an IL board was to be made for this game it would have to go like this: https://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_and_the_black_knight/times
If this was to be done, you would have to show the timer on the results screen. When looking into speedrunning this game, I was experimenting with the timer. It turns out the timer would add 2-5 centiseconds after you touch the goal. So taking the time from the last frame you can see, isn't do-able.
Pretty sure he made that second video for me to see it and plead his case, after I sent him this message.
It's not just the sonic series mods who have decided this, I also asked the other sonic mods and they're happy with this decision. No one in the sonic series wants him back!
He wants me to hear him out after he gaslights me and another series mod in a video. Claims I'm untrustworthy, a bad moderator, I back stabbed him and is out to get him. Also blocks me on twitter, yeah that's really going to help your case.
Oh I'm sorry I did my job as a moderator and investigate you stealing people's videos when someone came to me. I'm sorry were you expecting to me say no and ignore it! He could've talked to me first about it, nope straight up blocked because 'I'm out to get him'. I know it's possible that he might've forgot, but still looks bad to me when he could've talked to me about it first. I'm not really that hard to get a hold off. The whole thing still looks sus to me.
I tried looking in the audit log to find Jaypin's runs, but they're not there because he deleted them. Luckily I have another way of finding them. Here's proof that he submitted then 2 years ago. I have no idea where people are getting this 5 years ago thing from.

I can't find the other two runs but I have proof that I did investigate 4 runs that he stole from https://imgur.com/a/kHxcc2Z
Also I listened to the second half of that video and I'm not happy that he called me and Zurggriff untrustworthy, because we never told him what was going on. This was a complete and utter lie, because Zurggriff spoke to him about the stolen videos.

That post will explain what happened behind the ban.
I'm sorry but how the hell did Jaypin get unbanned when I clearly showed proof of him stealing at least 3 runs from another Sonic runner?!
Looking at the verification page, your run has been up for 9 days. When you submit a run, you should've gotten a message saying 'it can take up to 3 weeks to verify a run'. If your run is still not verified after these 3 weeks, then please contact a game mod.

Since someone pointed out to me that I am on that list I'll tell you why I am a mod on what 87 games. The reason being is that I am a series mod for Sonic and at least one series mod should be on all the games. I have spoken about this with other people about wanting to unmod myself from some games because so many runs end up on my verification page and it's hard for me to keep track on my own games that I do moderate on.
However, someone pointed out to me that it would be best to have at least one series mod on every game, so that just in case a game becomes inactive, that no one else can claim the board. Not to mention that I have 13 years of experience with running most of the games, knowledge of most of the games and managing the Sonic community.
This has actually happened with Sonic Unleashed (Wii), where the other mod just left without telling me. I didn't realise till I noticed that the run was close to 21 days and checked to see that they left and I was the only one there.
You can now use the decomp to play Sonic 2 (2013). When submitting your run put it down as PC under the Platform box. Here are the updated Game Rules:
As of 28 October 2020 game audio is required and must be at an audible level throughout the run. The game must run at full speed.
##Emulator Rules: (as of 24 June 2021) The following unofficial emulators are allowed: Bluestacks and NoxPlayer. Links to these emulators can be found in the Resources tab. The emulator used must have the FPS visible in the corner of the window.
##Decompilation Rules:
- Link to the Decomplilation can be found in the Resources tab.
- All runs must be completed on version v1.1.2. The version must be shown on screen either before, during, or immediately after a full game run.
- The Refresh rate must be set to 60fps.
- The Screen Width must be set to either 320 (4:3) or 424 (16:9).
- Any use of the Dev Menu during full runs (with the exception of using the F2 and F3 keys for ILs) will void the run.

When you messaged me I spoke to the other Sonic 4 mods about this. We requested from you that for this category to be added the following requirements had to met. A runner requests it. The second requirement was that we needed to see 2 runs. Both requirements hadn't been met till about 5 days ago looking at this thread. These requirements are needed when making a board since in the past we have ended up with empty boards. So technically you've only been waiting for this board to be made for 5 days not 40+ days. Still within the 21 days threshold.
So once again be patient, we will get the board done when we have the time.
Looking in to this. Please be patient as I can't look in to this myself as my 360 doesn't work properly at the moment, so other people are helping me out. Will get back to you as soon as possible.
I have someone looking to see if MAME can be used for Fighters. We'll let you know what happens as soon as possible.
No thanks we are fine now. Two new moderators have been added and this should be sorted out very soon.
