If that is the case, why do I feel like I never see any of them actually get addressed?
Speaking of bugs (this is a different post because it is a different issue), N/A times should not show up in Latest Runs: https://imgur.com/a/kBb0auP Would also like to make this an in-built feature.
You know, I don't really care about how the front page looks, but it feels like a slap in the face when 90% of the stuff in the feedback thread never gets addressed, mainly regarding bug fixes, increased leaderboard moderation tools, more options to support a wider community, bug fixes again, etc, and instead we get an okay-redesign that nobody asked for. Did we really need this over something like leaderboard translation options?
Things I wanted: Improved leaderboard moderation features, bug fixes (of which there are numerous), leaderboard translation options, or literally anything else posted in this thread.
Things I did not want: Generic blog posts and needless redesigns
Can't help but feel mute when trying to voice our opinions. The team is clearly working on stuff, but none of it is what we want. Why even have this thread in the first place?
The rules on src adding new series is much stricter because of how series mods can bypass things like the game request feature, and add new games directly. This is a problem especially for games like Minecraft (56 games), Hypixel (18), Roblox (232), etc, as they tend to 'spam' new boards / games with low effort. That's why the staff is both reluctant to make new series, and even add moderators to series with none (because there is little reason for them to even exist).
For lobber / roundabout swaps; anything above or below 7-8 swaps per second is slower.
For plane levels, there is a rhythm you have to learn. Every half second or so, switch to your bombs then switch back. You want to switch to the bombs every time their cooldown resets. The more accurate your swapping, the faster. If you swap as fast as you can, you lose a lot of damage.
While it's not a good solution, I figured I'd mention it anyways, but for this case I've seen often people add a time penalty like 1 hour per extra item collected or something, especially in a game that is <30 minutes or something
Probably thought it was a mistake / that you didn't care about it. If you ask them I'm sure they'll verify it if that's the case.
Add further flag emoji text support.
I posted this as a thread: "Microsoft does not support flag emojis. On speedrun.com, there are a few places where you can type flags as [us], like in the username when you submit on behalf of someone else. Is there anyway to do this in other locations? For example, we have guides in multiple languages now, and I want to be able to mark / sort the guides using a flag indicator. "
- @Oreo321 correctly pointed out that this is a feature and can be used in textboxes like these. However, they don't work in the title of Guides, and I'm sure other locations. I want to mark the language of our guides using the flag as an indicator, but these dont show correctly on Windows 10 and other platforms, so was hoping that the feature can be extended to at least guide titles.
Yeah, that was my initial conclusion, but I think its a feature worth adding. Guess I'll post it in the feedback thread :/
Ah, it doesn't work in the title of Guides: https://www.speedrun.com/cuphead/guide/o20zm (this is what I had tried before)
🇯🇵
Edit: Wow, I didn't know that! Does src automatically replace the character with the image? Or does it use a different font?
Edit 2: It replaces it with an image. That's awesome.

I might post this in the feedback thread, but doubt it will get seen, so that's why I'm asking if there's a workaround. If not, I might try the feedback form if I can find it.
It happens on multitwitch as well. It's a twitch thing.
@leafy0519 I'm sorry that your first interaction with the site had to be this thread. This is absolutely not what the site is like. Almost every single game community I've been apart of has been some of the nicest groups of people available.
Yes, I would appreciate it if the thread was locked, thank you.
I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but a dedicated space to add mod notes, which notify the user upon verification that there is a mod note. For right now, if there's a mod note that I want someone to see, I'll message them, but having it built in would be nice.
