Are there plans to implement the 4 expansions into the boards? I've noticed others have made posts about this, but there has been no response on them.
Many countries in Europe (Germany, Spain, Italy, France etc) are split into autonomous or administrative regions or something of that accord. I was thinking, for some of these bigger nations, we could have a category to discover the capitals of said regions. Not every region's capital is included in ETS2 but a majority of them are. I'd imagine it being similar to the All Capitals runs, potentially smaller in scope as you only need to explore one country instead of much of Europe. I can give one a try tomorrow, but here's the one's I've looked at thus far:
- France (Ajaccio, Bordeaux, Dijon, Lille, Lyon, Marsellie, Nantes, Paris, Rennes, Strasbourg, Toulouse); (Bourges (Centre-Val de Loire), Le Harve (Normandy))
- Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Santander, Madrid, Murcia, Pamplona, Seville, Valladolid, Valencia, Zaragoza); (Ciudad Real (Castilla-La Mancha), Vigo (Galicia), Badajoz (Extremadura), Gijon (Asturias))
- Italy (Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Catanzaro, Florence, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Trieste, Turin, Venice); (Terni (Umbria), Pescara (Abruzzo))
- Germany (Kiel, Hamburg, Bremen, Hanover, Magdeburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Dresden, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt am Main (works for both Rhineland-Phalz and Hessen, could use Kassel for Hessen)); (Rostock (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern)
- United Kingdom (Edinburgh, London, Cardiff) This might not be the best, if Ireland & North Ireland are added maybe it could be added then
- Greece-% (Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Larissa, Patras, Herakilion); (Rhodes (Admin. of Aegean))
- Portugal-$ (Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon, Faro, Setubal); (Evora (Alentejo), Cortiçadas de Lavre (Oeste e Vale do Tejo))
With the Northern Scandinavia DLC on its way, its possible Sweden, Norway and Finland could be considered for this category.
Cities in italics are cities which could represent the region in parenthesis, as the region's capital is not in ETS2.
% Greece is divided by the 7 decentralized administrations.
$ Portugal is divided acording to the 7 administrative regions of the country. It can be divided in other ways, but that basically just becomes going to every city in Portugal.
As we're seeing more and more states, it could be fun to have a category dedicated to visiting every city within a state. I could see a lot of ways you could route it depending on the state, might be fun. Being unrestrictive as to what city you start in would allow for a lot of freedom in trying to figure out the best routing.
hello i know its been a bit, just noticed that the australia levels arent in the levels leaderboard yet, figured i should just mention it quick
Hello, does the "complete all championships" include the rally-cross championships? The levels board doesn't seem to include those either, so those might need added.
I've (started) making a new spreadsheet to look at the top speeds of the different rally cars in the game. Currently, I've only completed Groups 2 & 3 as it takes a while to do, and I'm a busy college student. I also want to try to get acceleration rates for each gear (time to top speed), as acceleration is a useful factor as well.
This winter I may get a chance to fill it out more, hope you like it though!
Here it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13SxlNKvQQvTKXqO1L1yRINkXQ17oTXjj9zlGyKmgReI/edit?usp=sharing
This is just an idea inspired off of what is done in Dirt Rally 2.0; what if there were categories to do a given region? Finland, Japan, etc.
Make use of the custom rally feature and implement all the tracks for that region, done in whatever order the runner desires, and complete the whole rally as fast as possible.
It's like a diet version of the campaign, in a sense.
Just an idea, no pressure to accept it!
Something I was wondering about, and I figured it should be addressed; if you're in a run and you pull a bad stage, you can take some time to go back and reset that specific year for a better place. You do lose some time from it, but generally, (especially with germany, japan or kenya) it saves more time than it loses.
Should this be something disallowed or will it be allowed? I figure it should be mentioned in the rules, just in case people are wondering in the future.
Howdy, figured I should just mention that there new levels with Indonesia.
just so its easier:
Mount Kawi Semangka Bay Satonda Island Oreng Valley Sangeang Island Kalabakan Valley
And, of course, reverse versions/rain versions of each.
I am suggesting maybe adding a category for completing the race track without major cuts (such as the wall riding or significant cutting across dirt).
Thoughts?
