United StatesI had this discussion in discord earlier today, but I'm thinking about doing a very rough 100% run to try and see the boundaries of the category. However, the definition of 100% is up for debate in terms of the category definition. The game defines 100% "game completion" as completing everything on the map, while other things like suits have 100% even disregarding the ESU suit from the secret photo ops. If someone were to attempt 100% rta, would it be going off map definition, or would it be going off 100% mods, suits, map, etc? The thing with map definition is that you don't have to go for golds or side objectives, while everything else would be going for side objectives to even afford some of the later upgrades.
When do we end time? When you lose control of Fox after James kills andross, or results screen? Asking for RTA purposes
I'll be honest, haven't played this game in god knows how long, but with SA having just discovered duping, I have an idea. Have we tried placing an explosive on a mission trigger and then killing ourselves on the same frame we walk into the mission trigger?
Peanut is right. We need to do Chop to start a longish chain of missions for lamar. Chop- The Long Stretch- Hood Safari. You can get all the way to the jewel store heist and not do chop, but tanya will prevent you from progressing
This is really really cool ryedawg, but one thing. What about killing yourself at Friend Request? Does this tech work with a bike? Or do we still have to kill ourselfs some other way to get a suit?
Nice job with the new strats! I've got a few things though, one I managed to soft lock in chop a la dekap's mishap at the end of blitz play, I had two wheels perched up when I hit the trigger and was able to move but not trigger d. The other thing is, what's the deal with subtitles, are they ok or still slower? Dialogue dosen't seem that bad on pc
Just kind of sampling a glitch thread that would majorily reduce the amount of waiting in this run
The main difference is LS% times are kind of found in Full Game, but San Andreas is a very interesting game in terms of a full run. GTA V is a boring game right after Floyd% (beating Friends Reunited), and Trevor% is a much more established category in GTA V because of the length.
