Made a comment on my news article linking to some app called LokLok?

This is just a discussion I thought of since I see them used interchangeably.

When naming the main category of where you beat the game and do nothing special, do you prefer to call it any% or Beat The Game

Same goes for the 100% equivalent. Do you prefer to call it 100% or All X (All Emeralds, All Tokens, etc)

Mines is to finish the Sonic Java games and the other weird obscure Sonic games before then moving onto the Game Gear games (though I'm not sure I'll get to the GG games this year)

Java:

• Shadow Shoot: any% and ILs
• Sonic Cricket: any%
• Sonic Darts: any%
• Sonic Golf: Amateur, Pro, Zones and ILs
• Sonic Jump 2: any% and 100%
• Sonic 1 Part 1: Hard any% and All Emeralds, DoJa Easy, Normal and Hard any% and All Emeralds
• Sonic 1 Part 2: Low End, High End Easy, Normal and Hard any% and All Emeralds
• Sonic 1 Full: All 4 varients
• Sonic 2 Dash: Basically all the same as S1P1 and S1P2
• Sonic 2 Crash: Basically all the same as S1P1 and S1P2
• Sonic Tennis: any%
• Sonic Unleashed: any% in all versions

Arcade:

• SegaSonic the Hedgehog: Beat the Game and All Bonuses

Sonic the Fighters: All Characters

Didj:

• Sonic the Hedgehog (Not much info right now)

Leapster:

• Sonic X: any% and 100%

Mobile:

• Sonic at the Olympic Games: Save the Games, Save the Games NG+, Zones, Golds
• Sonic Jump: All Stages, All Red Star Rings, ILs (with and without jumpscare)

PC:

• Sonic Schoolhouse: All the classes at all grades

Saturn:

• Sonic Jam: All Missions and "ILs"

Tiger:

• Sonic 1: ̶e̶x̶i̶s̶t̶ Beat the game
• Sonic 2: ?
• Sonic Underground: ? (Not ripped)
• Sonic 3D Blast: ? (Not ripped)
• Sonic Jam (Game Com): All characters in all games

If I get through all that this year, I'd be pretty happy (and can maybe play and enjoy the more normal games)

Hi mods,

Someone mentioned that FXT is a mod that helps the PC game run better on modern systems. I was wondering if it's allowed for speedrunning because I've had some issues when playing the game where my screen flickers a lot or the game/windows freezes for about 10 minutes. I have a 2060 super and ryzen 5 3600 so I don't think it's an issue of my pc being too weak but rather my pc is too modern

Download the Win32 Version (1.45). The other versions are for consoles/emulation consoles

Hi mods,

Was just wondering if yous were aware that there are 3 other versions of the java game? They are similar so would still be under this board but the current board is only for the 600kb version. The layout would be the same or similar to the one used for Sonic Unleashed J2ME.

I have times for all trophies and all tracks in the 128kb, 300kb and 600kb too (myself and @TwoSpacesSG were experiencing issues with the 1MB version but are currently in talks with the developer of nnmod, best to ask TwoSpaces about this more than me if you are unsure)

The time has come

Personally for me as a Sonic speedrunner, there are over 100 games. There are so many obscure ones which I follow and run like Java mobile games, tiger electronic, etc. That's not even including cat ex and fan games. I don't just follow Sonic as well. If you are someone who is into a large franchise (Sonic, Mario, Zelda, Mega Man) they can easily go over the 100 follow limit

Will there be any more IL boards added for areas 4 - 7 out of curiousity.

Also, for the likes of 100m, 200m and 400m sprint, do they need repeated IL boards when they are always the exact same, whereas hurdles and bmx do have different tracks?
