Rather time without loads. This is still RTA so you don't have to single segment the game.

Go into the autosplitter settings and check "Pause game time while loading and during unit-end screens."

PS: Don't compare to best segments, obviously. HEH

I really want to start running Quake but I've hit some kind of a block that really annoys me.

I experience slow/jerky mouse movement and it feels really weird and awkward when I'm trying to strafe in the air.

I tried using both -dinput with different m_rate values and -rinput but they do next to nothing to make it feel better.

The other problem I have is that the game lags a LOT! I have a really strong computer that should have no reasonable problem running Quake. Every other game/source port flows like the river. Absolutely beautiful.

I managed to fix the problem a bit by using vid_vsync 0 but the game is still pretty choppy all the time.

I have 2 questions:

Is there some way, I'm not aware of, that I can fix these problems with?

Is it really that important to use this piece of shit source port?

Thanks!
