Are you talking about at the very end of the run while you're getting the Phantom Sword? If you're playing on the Japanese version, she will always spawn up there. On any other version, you need to savewarp to make her appear faster, and then savewarp again to get back to the island after fighting her.
Buffering exact frames is very difficult on an original 3DS (non-new) model. However, if you use a Circlepad Pro, it becomes very easy. The fence method of flower slide is very bad, and anyone who tells you otherwise does not know what they are talking about. The method where you descend onto the flower is much easier, and does not waste any time due to cycle timings. The best way to pick out the frames that work is to use the pedals the propellers to determine when to pull the bomb. There are 2 frames that work, but each frame has a different input method. The first frame has to be inputted with the touch screen, and the second frame needs the physical X or Y button. However, these 2 frames are not adjacent, meaning that there is one gap frame inbetween them. Therefore, the first frame is touch screen, the next frame does not work, and the frame after is a physical button input. I recommend watching any of my runs to get a clear visual of what frames I am talking about.
Thanks for posting this is very interesting and useful to know!
Hello, sorry! We're still working out details on what the best way to organize leaderboards are! These categories will be up soon, so stay tuned! ~~
Tech: go fast Route: go fast
Seriously though, idk how anyone would even write out a route for this game, what would you even say, "kill that one Metroid in that one room?" As far as tech you can do bomb jumps and some spots have precise wall jumps. Also I guess spider sparking towards the end counts.
