Have to admit this 16m 27s twitch VOD was lost :-(

Don't mind to be deleted from Leaderboars until re-run!!

There's the previous run few seconds slower

why you think Elephant level shouldn't be in the game and even want some devs to be fired? I think NES version is the best version of them all. Music and gameplay vise.

So could you announce the latest rules?

WR Mod Edit: Retimed to 17:11, time starts on character control and ends when the boss hits the floor and shatters

We start the timer not on mushroom jump but when control obtained (after the cutscene) right?

Ok you probably know in PAL version there's an option to skip nice transition between levels.

No option like this in NTSC-J version. But there's a trick. If you press Start>Down>Attack>Attack the screen will change to menu after the level is done. To quit this you just tap "Right".

I recorded the comparison.

Ok. this might be known but I don't see anyone uses this technique. I guess it should not be prohibited because it's all in-game mechanic. The best scenario it may save up to 25 seconds of a full game depending on how fast you do the trick.

Created this thread just to be sure if mods accept this kind of stuff or not. Also to announce it to players.

10 hrs. That's the speed.

And I'm here waiting for new category in Snow Bros (Gen) for 2 months. With wack chances of success. At least Rodland is developing.

OH YEAH. Taking this opportunity. I'm searching for coop mate to run Rodland or Snow Bros (Gen). Желательно Россия (Сибирь).

So you've prepared a 3h video guide so it's unfair to say that you don't care. @berlindude1 I want you to know that some runs been happening recently. But no single full run yet. Some agreed that 50 stages category is needed and left it for now. Usually shorter categories attract more people at 1st. And refresh the game with new runners. So its on your decision now. if you like the game being dead or not.

It's just an easier and faster category to start from. Also familiar for nes/arcade players. Of course they will finish 51-70 levels as well. But to get used to speedrun - 50 levels may be more desirable. Just before 'Girls cutscene'. With 70 levels as the next category to run. That's the point.

Look how this poor Capcom port has much more players. And Genesis one, being the best 'Snow Bros', has no love among players fsr. Maybe because of higher difficulty/longevity?

I just wonder. This would be the equivalent to NES and Arcade versions, someones more familiar with.

I think genesis version deserve more respect. And this also may be done adding new category - the one that faster (13-14 minutes) and easier to start from.
