Hello, I had a thought regarding intro% speedruns.

We should remove the tutorial from Intro% Speedruns or make it a subcategory to do with and without the tutorial. for pretty much every single race, the tutorial consists of two tiny fights and then waiting for dialogue to happen and overall IMO ruins the pace of the run right away. It makes the run a lot less interesting trying to go through it with the tutorial. If we remove the tutorial the elf speedrun goes down to a close to a sub 20 and I am CERTAIN the other races would be in a similar boat if not faster. I did a non tutorial speedrun and got a 24 without really knowing what I was doing as an elf. Any thoughts let me know :)

That cheat code doesn't work on TCS unfortunately otherwise it would be a thing.

If you do a run trying them out then it can definitely be considered/added

create a save file before starting the DLC run with a manual save. Then when you need to reset yuo can just reload that file

If that doesnt work feel to reach out in discord with screenshots or videos so io can kind of see whats going on

if you are using the autosplitter thats integrated into livesplit that one is not the current up to date one. Try the one in the resources tab here on the site and set it as a scriptable auto splitter in your layout tab. That one should work well for you

I haven't chimed in on this just due to life. I ran this game for a brief period of time when the xbox ports came out. When I was looking at it, I was noticing my xbox one load times were slower than the PS4 times by a significant amount. I did not do a lot of research but I did notice that it was enough to make it VERY difficult to rise up the boards. Because of this I stepped away from the game. Then the PC ports came out and I thought if there was a loadless timer I would return and run on PC then without it I had no desire since I knew I could not keep up with PS5 load times. With a PC leaderboard I am much more open to returning to this speedrun and trying to get better since I knew I would have a much better time with more fair loading times and not a scuffed fruitball

You can split kind of whenever. Most people will split on the mission complete screen at the end of every mission

Especially after I did a run on PCSX2 myself I saw a lot of inaccuracies in EXP and enemy behavior

the reason that those emulators are banned is because there has been a lot of proven points to show that they do not emulate the game accurately. We do not want to have an emulation on the board that has been proven to be inaccurate. Running on Dolphin won't give you any major difference from PCSX2 in fact it would only save you time since you canno skip the FMV cutscenes on it then on Dolphin

There is no autosplitter for this game it is all manual. We would love an autosplitter but no one has taken the time to make one/get one to work
