Heya. I'm a huge Grandia fan since the early 2000s. I was wondering if there are ANY guides on how to speedrun this game. Especially what I was wondering is, how did you guys skip battles in the any% category? There is absolutely 0 information about it anywhere on the Internet, not even here on the forums. I saw that one posted a discord link in a thread, but this link already expired xD. I'd really love to know how you guys do all the tricks, in any% and glitchless

Can we finally let IGT decide the leaderboards?

I actually gave up on speedrunning after I got crushed by Riparo despite him being slower by 6 full seconds. I immediately realized that my switch is too old to compete with normal times (its a day 1 Switch).

So I left for a while. Now I came back and saw the newest Leaderboard and thought to myself "I am actually just 1 second behind but 13 seconds of loading time, this shouldn't be the real measurement."

A majority of other speedruns are focused on IGT instead of Time, so I really don't understand why we compete in this "Who has a faster Switch" competition.

Please let us change this category to a more competitive environment.
