The same thing happened to me. I asked him to retime his run after he purposefully mistimed it to no response.
They should change the rules to state exactly what you said "the run starts at the first black fade in frame" so that people actually know how to time their runs.
Also the wording of the rules is ambiguous. It should be worded to specify the exact frame that the timer starts.
Why would that be the case? That's not what the rules say. Either way this run is 270 ms faster than the current "World Record"
