If you want to be able to open other tabs while the world loads just use obs to only record one tab at a time. It will only record mc so even if you open something else you can only see mc and livesplit (also get speedrunIGT its way better)
The only math needed is pretty simple. Just subtraction and addition in e-raying, same with pie ray, and then you just memorize the distances for distance estimation.
Since a mod said don't do it, I recommend you listen. Obviously you can change your minecraft username so if you do that it's fine.
I think that it shouldn't be counted toward all bosses but should have Warden%
@diskriminant if you think that it takes no skill in 1.16 rsg then you are very wrong. It takes a lot of skill and knowledge to get a good time. So don't say things that aren't true just to get your way. Also, I'm not against 1.18 category at all. Just standing up for 1.16 rsg
If you ever watch a Crookst stream you will notice just how insane his mechanics are. Definitely the best.
If you use MultiMC you can download mods and such for speedrunning. Also it allows multiple instances to run so thats a plus.
@Benbenq99 I personally use OBS for my speedruns. The video quality isn't amazing but it's okay. Sound quality is great. Also OBS is good cause it has so many options and customizations.
Honestly I used livesplit for about a month and then noticed just how bad it is. You should get SpeedrunIGT. If you don't however, just follow this tutorial:
@CommunismNeverDies You can download it on github. Downloading on github can be kinda difficult the first time. Just look at all the files under "Assets" and scroll down until you find "atum-1.0.5+1.16.1.jar" if you click that file it will download.

Fabric Loader is the way that most speedrunners do it. In fact, I'm pretty sure forge isn't allowed for speedrunning.
As of now the server is out. I played on it recently but I don't remember the IP. So far the server only has practice, i.e., portal practice and MLG practice.
Packs that change item's names are often seen in speedruns. They don't change the gameplay, so most are allowed. Even some top runners like Crookst use packs that change item names.
This is a good category idea for runners who enjoy slow runs. Moderating wouldn't be too bad because runs wouldn't be posted very often. If it does become a category I would definitely play it.

So I was wondering what mods are allowed in 1.16 Any% RSG to increase FPS. I know optifine isn't so I wanted to know what other options there are
As it is a glitch, abusing it would probably not be allowed in glitchless. Of course if it happens while loading into a world naturally it is fine, but you can't purposely do it in a run.
