if anyone's reading this, give some feedback. Thanks.
How many threads can be stickied at once on a board? Just wondering.
Copied from Symphonian46's message:
The latest patch has changed up throwing angles. Meaning, throwing bombs, boxes, etc. are a tad bit different. This moves the bridge skip for the alignment to be shifted a tad bit to the left now and actually pixel perfect.
Pre-patch bridge skip
Post-patch bridge skip
Cool finds. Getting the blaster has early been documented here: https://www.speedrun.com/phoenotopia_awakening/guide/15eym those bomb boosts are possible with just regular bombs, no remote bombs needed. I use that trick in my Zero Trial run actually, it's pretty much a replacement spear bomb
That Wrecker kill is pretty sick, seems too situational to be useful in runs though
Nice, that's where my pfp comes from. Play Anti-gravity Robo, i think I have a IGT of around 84.
If it matters, any item the increases the percentage is normally skippable.
In the game i run, there's a percentage counter for collectables, but there are also some required items that can be skipped. I typically think of the name "low%" as collecting the least amount of items, so would low% mean "minimum items", or would it be taken more literally as "0%"?
i was thinking about an idea where a game's theme could change based on the month. What do you guys think?
I noticed that there's a changelog in this site, and it hasn't been updated since November: https://www.speedrun.com/changelog will this ever be updated again?
just in case if you don't know what I'm talking about,
before: now:
Does page view still exist for Games? it would make browsing easier as opposed to infinite scroll.
What games do you know / play that have in - game achievements for speedrunning, such as completing the game under a certain amount of time, etc.?
Makes sense. also It seems that the beta was leaked so it was never originally intended to be released. http://distractionware.com/blog/2009/12/final-push/
I was wondering if you could add the November 2009 beta version of VVVVVV on here as a category extension or something, or if is not really worth to add it at all.
I got a 10.5 2 days ago!
Finish the intro. Timing starts when the overworld is visible. Timing ends on the last fade to white.
