Aquitaine, FranceWii options don't exist in the Wii U and the wii shop channel is dead
I'm trying to speedrun Mario Kart Wii and i can't play the arcade versions of Mario Kart because i can't play with an emulator [I have a poor PC]
And in the US, the NES was the favorite... :(
I already know that Brazil release Master System 3 and Mega Drive 4 but in France, it's the opposite ! Everybody hates SEGA [not me] and i don't know why !
Ok it's better to speedrun a game that i love and i never get tired of finish, but Sonic 3 is the only ojne that is not so LOOOOOOOOONG... I love Ninja Gaiden [not the NES version, but the Master System version] but the last level is so fucking difficult ! And that's the problem of so much of the games i love: Ecco the Dolphin [Mega Drive] Mortal Kombat I, II and III[ I'm a noob at fighting games, but i'm really good at platformer games]

Hi ! I'm Fox, a 12 years old little french kid. I played video games for the first time when i was 4 years old with Sonic 3 on the Mega Drive. [That's why i'm a SEGA fan] And i discovered speedrun when i was 9 years old and i immediately liked it. But... i did not have a computer ! Now i got a new Windows 7 [Not new lmao] and i can submit runs on speedrun.com ! But another thing, i CAN'T do a good record of something and i'm not good at speedrun [even though i'm training] ! So... it's going to be difficult to enter the vast world of speedrun... And i wanna know if someone have a game who'll be one of the best game to start speedruning.
I don't played so much at For The King but i think that there is not so many rng in this game !

I tried a speedrun of Digimon World 2 and i beated the WR ! I finished the game in 16 hours ! But i lost the video...
I think the worst game to speedrun is a game like Dr. Mario or a game like Geometry Dash
[ZenicReverie] okay but there is only cup categories in MKWII and i'm good only at the SNES Ghost Valley 2 and very bad at the GCN Peach Beach so... [Lieutenant_Boo] when you say " You don't have to be great to do a speedrun. " Yeah that's right but if i try t upload a speedrun of a cup and the best result is very bad, people will say that i'm ridiculous. For exemple my best time a SNES Ghost Valley 2 : My best time is 1:02:332 but a normal speedrunner have less than 1 minute for best time at SNES Ghost Valley 2... [Drakodan] i don't look at MKWII world records and think i'll do better than them. My objective is not to have the WR. My objective is just to do a good time and enjoy myself to do some speedruns !
I never speedrunned before and i wanna start with Mario Kart Wii because that game = my childhood.
But when i see the MKWII speedruns, i think that i'll never do a great speedrun...
What game do you advise me to speedrun ? And did Mario Kart Wii is a great game to start speedruns ?

I wish that Sonic Riders was more popular because absolutely nobody know the existence of the Sonic Riders games...

And if it's recorded with a poor phone and the stopwatch is on another phone in the field of view of the camera, does it matter ?
To your first question, officially, SEGA authorized the emulation of his games so yes you can play legally. To your second question no sorry i don't have this game but i know where can you find it at normal speed.
