Added a Pirate mode to misc since it has power-ups in the shop, don't think any of the others do so for speedrun purposes this should be fine.

Added all the other game modes. Was also going to add Ooga but I found that it follows the same personal high score as Original, so it won't go up for now but could in the future.

From now on, Drag Clicking is also banned from the main categories. Also any time that is below 1.250 on 25 Hops PC and 3.000 on 50 Hops PC must show a hand and keyboard cam to be potentially verified. Any run that is within these thresholds now will be moved to the misc category.

Just out of curiosity, could one of the mods put the time and/or video of the auto-clicker run here? I wanted to have a specific check for the time-frame but I believe only mods have access to rejected runs. (Should be under Runs Awaiting Verification --> Show Old --> DragonTamerBrownie's run)

The unofficial passwords are in the game, it's just very unlikely to get the ones you want without a program separate from the game itself. Basically, Nintendo officially released certain passwords that people could use over time, but with this program, we could use all the rest that weren't given out yet.

Well seeing as Passwords and No Passwords are already separated, I see no problem in allowing generated passwords, especially when you could potentially trial and error them as you said. For reference, we have a Password system called Wondermail in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, and we've allowed a separate Wondermail category for a while with no problems.

I’ve still got my save file from years ago despite doing multiple runs. But I also don’t usually leave it through the whole set of credits.

For legacy purposes just in case:

- 1st run (8:02:01) 1/11/19

Did this as a race with MozzarellaCheez (9:45:54 but some of the video got corrupted) and Cinderdog (DNF due to capture card failure at Rotom)

- 2nd run (7:30:35) 1/21/19

Did this as a race with Cinderdog (8:38:30 with capture card failure towards the end but used webcam footage for the last 15 minutes or so) and Robthegamer115 (8:38:01 with a few OBS crashes)

Probably will do this race again cuz I want a better time and Cinder wants a run with no capture card issues.

Hey, figured out some new stuff. This game's 100% is defined by getting all the bugs in the collection, and I've found out how to get them all by playing through every level 2x, playing all the mini games, and buying all the upgrades. Will try to get a recorded run done this weekend. As for Cheat%, I've tested it a bit and I feel that it's basically the same as NG+, but saves maybe 30 seconds more because we don't ever need to use the hearing aid.

California, USAWh0misDS5 years ago

Hey, so I beat that bonus level. There's no boss, but NG+ just got way more interesting. There's an ultimate cheat code given to you that makes you take zero damage, all gadgets from the beginning, no dog meter drainage, and can get unlimited points. This actually seems really fun to test out and will probably attempt a run of this as soon as I can.

Oh the Bonus level is Paradise Falls and I haven't played through it fully yet to check, probably should?

California, USAWh0misDS5 years ago

I could do an Any% NG+ run in a bit to see if there's a huge difference between the two. I could see it saving around 3-5 minutes, but I'll check to make sure.

Oh yeah an IL board would be cool, that way all gadgets could be used on any level. There are 7 levels including the bonus. Only thing is should there be a separation between all gadgets and only gadgets you get for that level? Or just all gadgets?
