The bit Generations series was a series of Japan-exclusive GBA puzzle games. Years later, some of those games would get remakes/sequels that were in the Art Style series for WiiWare and DSiWare.
Now I haven't played through all of them yet, but the two most similar games are probably bit Generations: DIALHEX & Art Style: ROTOHEX. Aside from a few extra modes and some changes to the power-ups, the base gameplay is exactly the same.
Other games from those series with remakes:
- bit Generations: ORBITAL & Art Style: ORBIENT (don't know if it's an exact remake)
- bit Generations: DIGIDRIVE & Art Style: DIGIDRIVE (different unlockables, but the game is still mostly the same)
Just gonna throw in the entire Mario DS/3DS library. They're all pretty good. Some personal favourites are mine are Mario Kart 7 & Mario Party Star Rush.
Unfortunately can't recommend much else right now. Every other game I follow is either too long, too hard, or too .... not good (looking at you, The Cube)
Just a talk thread for today's Nintendo Direct. What did you like about it? Is it what you were expecting? Are you looking forward to any of the games? Let's talk about that here!
As a Mario Party fan, I was ecstatic to see Mario Party Superstars. The new Metroid game also looks super cool. Definitely going to try to get both of these games when I get a Switch.
While not technically because of batteries, there was a time where I had my Wii nunchuck malfunction more than 2.5 hours into a run. I mistook this for dying batteries and replaced them when I got to a lengthy loading zone later on, hoping that I'd be ok for the rest of the run. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The whole nunchuck was just broken. I lost more than 15 seconds to switching the nunchuck, yet in the end, the run WR'd by more than a minute
Hopefully this is the only time I encounter this in a run, as I can imagine it would be devastating to lose a WR to it.
straight up, first question asked in game request form is "Is it a Scratch game?"
We will not be adding categories for the following webgames, as they are either endless, score-based, or aren't actually games:
- SWAT - score-based arcade game
- Sheep Shot - endless game
- Diggity Dash - endless game
- Skylanders: Be Your Own Imaginator - not a game, just a character creator tool
oh my god its the horny4pony thread again
RUN
I'm not interested in the game at all and wish to see even less of it.
@OzzyDealz I have never built anything huge in Minecraft, but I just want to say that I like your world. Especially like the way the train tracks were designed.
-
Mario Kart (Player's Page)
-
Skylanders: SuperChargers (Single Lap categories can be found on the Skylanders Series-wide Category Extensions board)
-
Mario Party 9 & Island Tour have Time Attack, the former being RTA.
-
Skylanders: Swap Force has a Time Attack mode, but requires beating the game to unlock and doesn't have a leaderboard on speedrun.com (we have an unofficial board that no one uses).
