To be honest, I still played, and the versions have differences. On the switch it is older than the current Steam one. But overall everything works just as well as on the PC version. There are small differences, but they are insignificant and do not affect speedruns, which is why there is no need to create a separate category.
The Nintendo version is no different from the regular one. I played the game on Switch. She can repeat all the glitches. You can also post a 27 minute race. He tried his best :)
I didn’t do any direct runs on the switch, but I checked all the bugs and difficult moments during the run
The rules says: Have completed all conditions required (100%). But the game has a variety of quests. You can accept a companion and then there will be more quests with him, or you can not take him. You can even take it and just leave it in the city at some point and there will be no quests. How to correctly understand which path to take? Maybe it would be better to write in the rules at least: It is necessary to complete the main part of the game, and there should not be a single side quest left. Or maybe make it mandatory to collect all satellites? I would like to do the race 100%, but I don’t fully understand how to do it. Maybe it would be better then to rename the category from 100% to All companions and side quests%? Difficul question.
I think this will be convenient for discussing the strategies and ideas of old players, and it will be easier to let new ones get involved, they will be able to go to the server and directly ask the moderators and players all their questions.
The Druid is too defensive and slow for speedrunning. The knight is strong, but in my opinion he has long battles due to the accumulated effects. Plus, it is important that leveling up your cunning gives you additional experience, getting more mana from bonuses and going first. The only character whose battle and cunning skills can be easily upgraded is the Warrior. The rest will have problems at the start, and they will probably have to think a lot about new game strategies.
We thought about it. Large glitches are a new thing for the game. My run is the only time I took advantage of them to the maximum. But in general, dividing into the NMG or no glitches category is a good idea.
So, old versions of the game can provide new features and interesting information. If anyone has older versions of the game (except the latest 2.2 and we have 1.0.2d) please share any information. This will allow you to better understand the game and possibly create new categories.
:)
Not bad man :) Maybe u can find something interesting on discord server. Don't be sure that your record will be here so long :)
I know that my comment most likely will not make sense. But I would really like to have pages for the next parts of the game and the possibility of records in new categories.
