United StatesI agree with Viper, and am sure most of the other Mods would too. Because of this, we will not be splitting the categories like he said earlier.
On the discord server, you will find guides on how to revert your game version. Currently, versions before the clean vent task was added are faster, as it is 1 less task to do for completing the run. There are also specific versions that use glitches to make the times faster as well.
Also, I believe the reason that controller was split into two categories was because reporting a killed dummy in version 2021.6.30 and forward is slower than reporting in a version before that.
Hello! Your run that you submitted did not give enough time at the end of the run to correctly be timed. It is very hard for us to correctly retime when this happens, and because of that the two moderators that verified your run probably got different times each (which seems like the case). It's hard to explain through chat what is going on behind the scenes, but I fixed your run as I believe the 1:03.633 is the more accurately timed one. Please provide more than half a frame next time at the end of your run.
Src has a strict policy about online matches and speedruns, and I don't think this category would be accepted. Good idea though!
Hello, we have been working hard to add many different categories, and if you have any ideas, then feel free to submit them on the discord or share your thoughts about them. Also, although there are only 8 categories, there are still 6 different map choices to complete them on. Giving you 48 different options, and that's not even including the 4 different input devices you can use.
Timing would probably start as soon as you click the sabotage button to enter the sabotage map. NOT first input after selecting imposter, because you have to walk away from the computer to be able to enter the sabotage map. Another idea is that timing starts when the option to enter the computer menu disappears.
Pear has a good point, you should probably submit some runs (even if they aren't top 10 or 15), and also join the discord. If you have any maps you would like to suggest, there is a map suggestion channel also in the discord.
