Small prize pool, but the prize pool may grow a bit as we progress. If you like Majora's Mask speedruns, and want to potentially earn some cash, come and join!
Hello all!
I'm making this announcement to begin a tournament aimed at expanding the MM 2Ship community, along with the strats and categories being run. Here are the basic rules;
#1 - No cheating. Pretty straight forward, but we'll be leaning heavily on proof-standards on runs. So any hiccup in the video, no sound or any weirdness/anomalies are subject to rejection if needs be.
#2 - Submissions NEED to be uploaded to Youtube, due to Twitch's recent purging of highlights. Losing runs to highlight cap when money is on the line, isn't great for anyone. I do understand this might limit some people, or subject them to very long uploads, but if you're playing for money, the extra effort could pay. If you upload a twitch highlight, your run will be rejected and asked to repost a Youtube link.
#3 - Respect the mods and other runners. Pretty straight forward. You could post a new WR, but if you're a jerk, we reserve the right to remove the run. Competition and some gamesmanship is fine, but be aware of the line.
#4 - ALL RUNS MUST BE DONE LIVE - This rule helps make cheating more difficult. If you submit a run, I should be able to find a highlight on your twitch channel, or a past stream of it. If asked for verification, you might need to also present a stream link along with the Youtube link for the run to be accepted. Since we accept or reject runs in a timely manner, there should be a past broadcast to reference to, long before it's purged from Twitch.
#5 - Only runs submitted on or after May 25th, 2025 are eligible. No older runs will win prize money.
As of today May 25th, I'm opening a tournament with a prize for the following categories;
All Masks - Glitchless
1st - $100
2nd - $50
Any% - Glitchless
1st - $100
2nd - $50
100% - NMG
1st - $100
2nd - $50
Prizes will be awarded to the players in these respective spots when the tournament ends at 12:01am EST September 1st, 2025.**** As we do with all runs, we will prioritize verification and fair play above all else. If you fail to follow the rules to the letter, your run is subject to rejection. Real money on the line, real rules to follow. If anything changes, be it the rules for each category, or the rules of this tournament, they will be posted with a changelog and a date. Goodluck runners, hope to see many new faces!
Disclaimer - Both 100% and All Mask categories are newer and therefore rulesets are ever changing. If a rule is to be changed, it will be announced and a run will either be grandfathered in, or asked to resubmit. While frustrating, we are offering cash prizes, and therefore ask participants to be patient. Any payment will be issued within a month of the closing of the event, and will be paid via Paypal. All participants will need to have Paypal in order to get paid, or be able to direct your winnings somewhere it can be paid. Moderators take cheating very seriously, and if we feel you have been less than honest, you will be asked for proof. We reserve the right to reject any run, for any reason.
Hello, I'm Tristnal and I'm the Moderator for the Ship of Harkinian port of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask!
If you're unfamiliar with Ship of Harkinian, it's a project that fully ported Both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask to PC, and is done so legally. Currently both games have a slew of features and fixes, along with randomizers that were being tested daily!
We are the Majora's Mask 2Ship community value the original game and all it's done for speedrunning, and we want to honour that and keep it special. We also want to keep our own version unique by utilizing the features of 2Ship while maintaining the integrity of the speedrun. Our community values runner input and we're always trying to refine down our ruleset to make the runs the best they can be, so don't be shy to even make a post on our forums asking any questions you might have!
All of the above to say - we'd love to see more runners in the space! I encourage everyone to stop by our page, check out the rules and to check out the Ship of Harkinian project in general!
I do hope to see many new faces out and learning, or perhaps transitioning from the OG version, to 2Ship!
Currently all decisions on rulesets for categories are set, but if a runner wishes to discuss a change to any current rule(s), they need only to make a post to discuss the reasoning behind a change. If you're wanting to make a change, please try to do it in this manner:

Thank you!
Hello folks!
I'm a new runner to 3DDGH. Played the game years ago, and been waiting for an opportunity to speedrun it! I just reobtained a PS3, got a splitter and waiting on the game to arrive early next week, then I'm diving into relearning the game and then posting some speedruns.
Hope to see some action here, because this game is a banger!
Anyone sitting on any documentation for this game at all and down to share some notes?
Cheers runners!
Hola fellow runners. I'm brand new, just dipping my feet into speedrunning this, and I had some questions. I was told today, that running on Cartridge can cost between 3-4 seconds per race. Just wondering if that is correct?
I'd also like to preface my next question with the statement that I know I'm new, and not practiced, so I'm not asking this because I believe it would give me any edge. I'm genuinely curious why this game doesn't offer a cartridge category, and one for digital. There's a few categories that have a cartridge runner in the top 5, but the vast majority of the top runs are digital. Would it serve the community better the separate submissions moving forward? Assuming a 4 second loss for loading for cartridge players, that's a 1 minute four second loss just over the course of a Nitro Run. Like I said, I flat out just need to get gud, and I look forward to improving as I play, but curious as to why the separation hasn't happened before now? Other prominent games have done so in the case of games that use original hardware and those run on emulator, in cases where the emulator is shown to run faster or slower.
Honestly just looking for discussion here, not trying to ruffle feathers.
