The one question I have is, although I said my opinion earlier, why is this being brought up now of all times and not in the past due to the fact that modifications of any sort are not allowed during speedrunning; whether it be GTA or not?

Since I didn't put a vote in, before I even do so, I want to make a note that mine will come from the heart and I'm not joining the brigade of shit that's been happening. Personally, I vote A, that it should be banned. As KZ and anyone else that said this said earlier, a heated argument should not have been an outcome.

I agree with you on that because that's just completely unnecessary. Brigading shouldn't be a result to begin with, a matter of fact, it shouldn't have even been a thought.

I may not post much, but that's besides the point.

The first thing I have to point out, is that I agree with KZ in regards to GInput, and how it may give an unfair advantage. While I'm not saying the usage of it should be banned, there are other ways to use a controller that don't require a program such as GInput. While it's useful for runners that use it, so they're able to use their controllers on their PC for this game, there are other alternatives.

For anyone saying "we're trying to deter people that use controllers from running the game," we in no way, shape or form are trying to do anything of that nature. We still want people to be able to run the game, but by not having unfair advantages.

Before anyone sits there and tells me that I haven't read over all of this post yet, and that I shouldn't be typing anything until I have... I have. Just figured I'd put that out there. Not even that, but if somebody says that I'm thinking that controllers are supposed to be banned, that's not the case. I'm talking about the mod itself.
