Hi Everyone! There has been a new patch for while True: learn(). This may or may not affect speedruns. The previous patch (update 1.2.92) DID affect speedruns. As mentioned in the rules, patches may make older speedruns impossible to replicate. I'll do some tests with this new patch to find out what has changed, beyond what the developers have said they have done.

v1.4.98 Released: New Engine version: the game is now running on a more up to date vewrsion of Unity engine, resulting in +15-20% performance boost (especially for the part that includes real machine learning) Updated localizations, thanks to our awesome Discord community. NB: there is a slight chance this new version might not run on some very old PCs. Should it happen and everything else fails please try activating separate branch, containig version 1.3.97: right-click on while True: learn() in your Steam library, select 'Properties', go to 'Betas' from there and select the branch from the list.

Hi everyone! Just a reminder that the time is counted from when you press 'release' on the last completed level. If you submit it with the wrong time (because most people press it when they press 'accept') then the submission will be frame counted and edited it down to its correct time

I have changed the rules for run submission: This rule has been removed

  • Tutorials must be enabled unless otherwise stated

I originally added the rule because when I played this game I didnt know that there was a tutorial on/off option. Because it was the default option, I enforced it in the main rules. Im removing it now because it basically slows down speedruns for no real reason. Im separating my own runs into the old "Tutorials On" category. Im sorry for any confusion the run requirement rules have caused.

I cant believe Ectortutu managed to beat the game in under 11 hours!! Thats incredible! I've watched half of the previous world record run and was wondering where any time could have been saved. I'll have to watch this one too. Is it better reactions? A faster route? Sheer skill?

Hi everyone! I would like to speedrun this game on any%. Does anyone know what the most 'exploitable' patch is? The Ubisoft list of patches is not very clear about what changes they have implemented and people on YouTube also dont really list what is missing/changed from the game either.
